I've gotten through the last 5 days with 0 STDs for 4 girls going through the Escort this way, making 100k+ daily (this was before I knew how to effectively increase cash flow) and I got all the upgrades doing this. It should cut a LOT of days off trying to find the right items/girls, and allows for vastly increased cash flow for early game.
Note: You cannot load the game that you are currently playing and using "Quit" will automatically save.
I believe with better play, reaching 100k in 13 days or even 12 days should be possible. So this isn't a tactic which can break 1m Fans, not even with perfect RNG.
I tried to recreate the Sarah recruiting, and it was only successful in like 1/8 runs. The chances of pulling it off are NOT great, so if you want a high score, get ready for some frustration during the first day.
Can you test your Sarah strategy yourself please? I need to test the Rock Hard mode!
Okay, I found out what was wrong with the "ignore Style" game.
How many Fans Promos give you depend on your CURRENT Fans. That means that the rich get richer. If you ignore Style, you'll get a slow start, which will be bad.
The Promos cap when you reach 100k Fans - after this, every single Promo can give you 5000-9999 Fans. That's 40k-80k Fans, per day (with 8 slots). So, the ONLY thing that matters is... HOW FAST you hit this 100k Fan mark, as your Fan growth CANNOT accelerate past that point. I hit it on Day14 and reached 600k Fans by the end. RNG will effectively dictate your score - reaching 100k Fans with 8 Promo slots on Day14 means that you have seven days of 40k to 80k growth - that's a score from 380k to 660k. As you can see, I must've gotten pretty lucky, though I spammed Photo Shoots from that point on like crazy.

So, since this game is all about rich getting richer... what matters the most is how you get started. The sooner you get rich, the sooner you hit that 100k cap. So, Promos on early days don't provide you with all that much - I mean, it takes 45 minutes for a level 3 Style girl to get you 21 Fans (this slows down by 15 minutes every time you do it, however). So, we should ignore Promos for the first few days, and instead use Photo Shoots to power through the first few days.
You HAVE to pick Tiffany, Nikki or Kyanna. Assuming that we're going to build around one of these girls... there's two possible supporting girls: Marlena (shares traits with Kyanna and Nikki) or Candace (shares traits with Nikki and Tiffany). Sadly, the wages of these two are OUTRAGIOUS, and this actually turned out to not be feasible.
I noted a third good candidate: Sarah. She has a cheap wage (level 1 Talent). She shares a trait with Kyanna. She shares a trait with Beli, who also has a low wage.
So! Here's my theory:
Pick Kyanna
Skip all tutorials
Cam twice and upgrade Staffing
Model Agency: you're looking for Sarah (super rare) > Beli (almost guaranteed) > Tiffany/Nikki (for errand girls, for later)
Both Kyanna and new recruit to Model Agency (put Kyanna in first, she'll be done hours before the second girl)
Kyanna to Camming after this (rush this!)
If neither Kyanna or your new recruit have found Sarah&Beli, quit.
2:15PM on first day: You should have Kyanna, Beli, Sarah and one extra and you have JUST upgraded Staffing again.
From now on, Kyanna and Beli ENDLESSLY camming, Sarah ENDLESSLY Photo Shooting (until 100k Fans). Proceed as normal otherwise, your fourth girl will need to pick up smokes and drinks though.
If you don't care about high scores, you can spend the entire first day in Model Agency looking for Sarah.
I'm not sure if there's a better opener than this, but if there is, THAT's what really decides the high scores (and Promo RNG).
As you can see, it made around 30% less fans and 25% less total revenue than in my 3rd playthrough, despite the fact that in this playthrough I substituted the pillows for other fetish items in the midgame! Since each girl had one extra fetish item than my 3rd playthrough, I should have made WAY more money.
I also followed your maths and went easy on leveling talent. They stayed at 3 talent for a while, then 4 at around day 8, then 5 at around day 11. I didn't care at all about leveling style, and tried to pick girls with 1 style to test the theory better.
As far as I'm concerned, it failed.
Though the dev DID release a balance patch. Could it have affected efficiency this much?
