Hi again...

This is the second package for the qUIck_FLG concept.

It has 35 Flags & 6 bonus "Nations". Mostly some (Highly Populated) countries that come afterwards the default group of 36.

The idea behind having the Bonus items is that when you want to define pseudo-Nationalities of special troopers from the Character Pool while giving them a specific indirect reference "Flag" and Armor symbol -- you now can!

With; Stargate, Serenity, Rebels + Jedi (which are both playable as Rebellion and Jedi Order countries), Predator & WeylandCorp (Aliens Franchise).

EDIT (18/04); Now also offers +34 new Cities.. some of which; Havana, Lima, Prague, Copenhagen, Helsinki, Nairobi, Kabul, Kathmandu, Manilla, Wellington & Nuuk - Greenland! ;)
EDIT (29/07); As stated in the FLG page... adding "Mini-Flags" after city names to the Pre-Mission debrief panel during Skyranger flight to destinations.

AFAIK.. yes. (You'll need to join FP1 for everything to work as intended)

I wonder, currently testing my latest modpack and thingking of adding this... Does it work with WOTC+TLP?

Great to learn you managed to make this work exactly as you wanted. The concept and how the files were coded allow for better control of various features -- as long as someone has patience & minimal editing skills with some creative imagination.
Proud of you!
:)

(cont.) I also cleared out the declaration files that gave the X-Files/X-Men/Shado their own countries for missions. Felt a little silly to me personally. Other than that, your mod is quality stuff, I really appreciate the extra diversity the additional nations add to the mission screen.

It worked! Huzzah! To be honest, I'd have no problem with soldiers from the countries you included showing up. It's just that I've got other much more comprehensive flag mods and I wouldn't want to be dealing with duplicates, especially since your flags look slightly different to the other mod's (rounded edges rather than sharp 90 degree corners). I do like your fictional flags though, the Cybertron and Weyland-Yutani ones are really useful for my Transformers/Colonial Marines character pools. Thanks for helping me out there!

That one is FP4.
Checking out how my (FP2) sample was edited.. it shouldn't be hard to fix the other -- just keep the last six (CountryFP4_...) sections.
Notepad++ editor & using basic UTF-8 format for those INI files are recommended.

Oops, sorry my bad, of course it didn't work, I wasn't subscribed to this mod. I was subscribed to the mod with Weyland-Yutani, Cybertron, Etc. Thanks for that, I'll try editing it on my own!

BTW.. there's another easy trick while editing the file.
Trailing each declaration blocks -- you can control how often soldiers would be randomized from any specific "countries" be they fictional or not.
The UnitWeight values can adjust the frequency for whatever you want. Sooooo, 0=Very Rare ... 8=More likely ... and so on!

After examining the XcomGameBoard.INI file involved.. you could edit that simple "correction" rather easily.
It's only a matter of removing the extra declaration sections that you'd prefer not being active.
All the fictional stuff is at the end of that file.

Sooooo.. as a test -- here's an edited version (( https://www.dropbox.com/s/6r3ji9hk67nmqr7/Tadpoleon_XComGameBoard%28customfile%29.zip?dl=0 )) which you'll only need to copy into the Config folder & that would just replace the original INI file.
Let me know if that worked. I think it should be alright.
