Omschrijving
The Dv12 (Sv12 and Sr12 until 1977) is the standard Finnish medium-weight diesel-hydraulic road locomotive operated by VR. As all the main lines of Finnish railway network have been electrificied, the locomotive is designated mostly to unelectrified, less frequently used side lines. Occasionally it may still pull cargo trains on main lines. It has also been put in service as a shunter, replacing older classes Dv15 and Dv16 as they were retired. A total of 192 locomotives were built by Lokomo and Valmet between the years 1963 and 1984. Description pasted from Wikipedia.


In the screenshots, the train is clipping thru the power cables, that is fixed and does not happen in game.

This is with the original red paint and has mixed cars with old blue "VR Cargo" and the new green//white "VR transpoint".

the red paint... it was common back in the day before the green paint

@ravenz > Thank you. The ploppables we have now are ok, but your models are much needed to make good looking EU sort/swithc yards and sidings. Honestly, the electric catenary in this game is a bit silly looking, an out of scale. They really need to re-work those !

At the moment I don't have any locomotives on the work or in the to do list but if I decide to make more, one thing is for sure, I will not make any electric locomotives :P Some freight cars I have in mind, most likely Gbln or Gbls class, Sim class freight car I have already done but have not included yet in any vehicles.

Looking forward, do you have any other finnish trains under work?
I might convert my InterCity coach to CSL, which I've made originally for Train Fever. I'd need to make Sr2 to pull it first though

I have done those already but havn't released in the workshop yet, I will release them once I get few more buildings and maybe some freight cars done for a rail yard collection I'm working on :) There will be ploppables of both Dv 12's, the cars they have atm and 1-3 different class freight cars and some buildings. I'd expect the collection to be released in the first half of next week if I don't suddenly want more stuff to model :P
