Are quartz and shining poms necessary in this game for achievements?

Hi chests for Kalidia Limestone Cave are missing - right after chapter 3 began. you go to the cave to find missing guest from the hotel.

one thing i didn't like about the game was that on chapter 8, i tried traversing grancel to get to rolant after distributing all the macguffins, thinking i could post-pone the story till i was ready.
but no, the story throws a curve ball and im forced into the story events.

one gripe i have with this guide, is there is no warnings about when it will be impossible to return to a location after a certain point. for example, if you don't find all the chests in a place, face the boss, and then get warped away from the location after the boss, and you cant go back, you've basically already lost the chest achievement.

Just yesterday I have fully completed SC, using this guide as a reference. So let me say this, @cM.Yui, @Blue Soul, and @iCraft, thank you so much for creating this guide and updating it, really appreciate your work. While following this guide, I noticed a few typos or missing things, so I created a little list of things to add/change (with things mentioned from @altermaven and @Faint). I hope you find this useful and it helps you to fully complete this guide. Keep up the good work :D

Chapter 2: Rainbow Surprise recipe obtainable from the chest at Hot Springs Fountainhead.
Chapter 2: Before Going to Grancel, quest - Missing Guest (5 BP) + achievement - Penguin de Samba (9/9 penguin kills).
Chapter 2-3: Before Grancel - Jobs Completed: 32; Earned BP: 108.
Chapter 3: Before Rolent, jobs completed: 43.
Chapter 4: Esmelas Tower has 9 chests, plus 8 missing chests in Mistwald.

Chapter 4: Heavenly Tempura recipe needs to be removed from Chapter 4 list to Chapter 8, as it is only obtainable at the end of the game.
Chapter 4: Before Bose, jobs completed: 57.
Chapter 5: Mystery Paste Plus recipe needs to be removed from Chapter 5 list as it is only available at the end of the game in Chapter 8.
Chapter 5-6: Before Kingfisher Inn, jobs completed: 71.
Chapter 6: Missable achievement - "Blorf" - 1/3 (win fight 5v1 with Gilbert on the Glorious).
Chapter 6-7: Jobs Completed: 74.
Chapter 7: Book - Liberl News - Issue 9, Arseille Tools Dispensary.
Chapter 7: Book - Gambler Jack Vol. 10 - worth mentioning, you can receive this book before going to Sapphirl Tower, and Kloe must be in your party.
Chapter 7-8: Jobs Completed: 75.
Chapter 8: Worth mentioning accessories from Dimension Bugs like: Shield Orb (from Amberl Tower in Bose), Mind Orb (from Sapphirl Tower in Ruan), Power Orb (from Carnelia Tower) and Soul Orb (from Esmelas Tower).

Chapter 8: "Blorf" - 2/3 (win fight with Gilbert, Jenis sidequest in Ruan).
Chapter 8: Mighty Essence recipe can be obtained during Jenis sidequest (in Ruan) from Deborah.
Chapter 8: Also worth mentioning accessory in Kaldia Tunnel - Divine Cross, which you can get after fighting two Divine Penguins.
Chapter 8: Nirvana tea recipe, obtained as a reward for Hot Spring Restoration sidequest in Zeiss.
Chapter 8: No new chests in this chapter, so at the end of chapter counter still will be at 394 chests.
Chapter 8-9: Jobs Completed: 91.
Chapter 9: Book - Liberl News Issue 11, Arseille Tools Dispensary.
Chapter 9: Bitter Omelet recipe, Arseille Tools Dispensary.
Chapter 9: "Blorf" - 3/3 (win fight with Gilbert and Riot Arms).
Chapter 9: Jobs Completed: well technically it’s 95 :D
Chapter 9: Treasure Chests: 517 indeed.

@Ary @Faint @altermaven Thank you for your appreciation of this guide and for pointing out some of the things I may have missed or overlooked.

I would have loved to (or would like to) finish this guide at some point, but it may or may not happen. The simple fact is, creating a guide like this makes it much easier to burn out on a game as it is just so tedious.
