To do a proper moonwalk, you'll need to do the following steps! First, enter any prompt. It doesn't need to be the one you desire to dance your way through, nor the world you wish to showcase your stylish moves. Once you are in the level, you'll want to press the * symbol on your numeric keypad, also known as the small key section to the right side of your keyboard. You should pull a classy vanishing act, disappearing from the screen. You'll then want to exit the level, by selecting Exit to Portals from the pause menu. (Pressing Escape within the level will bring said menu up.)

You're on your way to being a smooth criminal. Next, you should be taken back to the over world. But what's this? You're still invisible! While you have your stealth drives on, you'll want to pick the world and level you wish to execute the moonwalk in. Once in your ideal level, you should still be invisible. The next step is imperative to moonwalking! You will want to move to the left in the level first! After doing that, press right and you'll start moving. I like to wait until I get to a prompt to ensure I am moving, but this isn't necessary.

If you've done all this correctly, press the * key one more time and you should be facing to the left. You then will be able to strut through the level in style while moving to the right.

1. Enter a level.
2. Press * on your numeric pad.
3. Exit to Portals using the pause menu.
4. Enter the level you wish to moonwalk on.
5. Press A, or left on the directional buttons, for a few seconds.
6. Press D, or right on the directional buttons, for a few seconds.
7. Press * to appear in the level and moonwalk.

Some things to note! You cannot move to the left if you want to keep moonwalking. Doing so will reset your character and have them walking normally again. That being said you can jetpack to the right and, as long as you don't walk left, continue moonwalking when you land.
