Creating the Catapult
Since I'm creating a simple catapult, I'll just keep it in 2 sections!

First start by creating 2 timber poles about 6 blocks apart I believe.

Add a Catch Block onto both of them, in this position:

Then select your timber and add a single block on the inner sides of both catch blocks:

Add the Rope Drum in the middle

Add another 2 timber blocks on the outsides of the catch blocks and connect a Turn Wheel Cross onto both

Now start adding timber to create a base of your catapult, add I'd say about 2 full lengths of timber on each side and connect them at the end

Now add the Rope Torsion Spring onto the connection between the two timber lines you created. Make sure the little timber part that is sticking out is facing the opposite side of the rope drum.

Start adding timber onto the little timber that is sticking out and after you're satisfied with the size(hue) add the Catapult Head on top of it.

Now focus the tip of the timber area just under the catapult head and add a Rope Ending to it.

Focus the rope ending until you get the indication and press T

Go down to the rope drum and do the same, focus and press T once indicated.

The rope will get connected

Now go towards the Turn Wheel Cross and once indicated, press T again until the rope is fully pulled.

Loading the Projectile
Make sure you have the correct projectile selected. You will know by the little + sign on the icon.

Once you select the projectile, position yourself above the catapult head.

You will probably be in static mode. This is relatively important now so pay attention. You have to press J, so your projectile stops snapping to your catapult. Once that happens, hover over the catapult head and drop the projectile in it.

Now go to the Rope Drum and press T. Your catapult will launch the projectile. (At the moment of creating this guide, the catapult head will break due to the physics the game currently has)

Enjoy your catapult!

DA FUCK WHY ARE YOU SAYING T?!?!? ITS AUTO WALK!

This guide is no longer accurate. "T" is the auto-walk command. You also must use magic to get the spring to work.

I can't get my capult to work. It looks exactly like the one in the screenshots. I followed it stp by step. The rope drum is turning in the correct direction, what else is there to do?
