Besides the great original singleplayer campaign. A dedicated community of talented mappers for UnrealGold have created amazing custom singleplayer maps over the last 15 years since Unreal's inception in 1998. I thought It would be a shame that new people to this game would not be able to try them due to the inability to know they even exist let alone where to find them, and so here they are.

http://unrealsp.org = click on the legacy website under quicklinks, then go to "custom map reviews" under Community and there is a catalouged list of amazing singleplayer campaigns for UnrealGold as well as Unreal Tournament 99. The UnrealGold maps are identified by a grey U. download links are in the map descriptions.

http://oldunreal.com/downloads.html = Download the 227i UnrealGold patch. It fixes lots of bugs and adds useful features that dont detract from the original gameplay. This site also has a huge singleplayer map download list.

PS My favorite singleplayer (or coop) mappacks are "The Tower of Shrakith'a", "Attacked", "Hexephet", "Illhaven Saga" and "Shamu Quest" just to name a few.
