About The Mod
Description
GTA IV Extended+ Radio is a passion project I’ve been working on for a while.

GTA IV has my favorite radio stations in the entire series—even more than Vice City. The idea for this project came about when I realized that while the game includes a ton of big artists from its era, it feels like the radio is stuck in 2005. That makes sense, given that development began in 2004. Still, it meant the game missed out on some major names and cultural shifts that happened between 2006 and 2008.

Since that era was a huge part of my own upbringing, I wanted to make the radio feel more complete—more authentic—without losing what made it special to begin with. At first, I just planned to add a few songs, but over time it evolved into what is now GTA IV Extended+ Radio.

The goal of this project is to act as an expansion pack for the original GTA IV and Episodes from Liberty City radio stations. While the game is set in 2008, Rockstar has always bent the rules a bit by including songs up to one year ahead. So, I’ve capped song selections at 2009 to stay within that spirit. Every song is organized into radio-specific folders and matched as closely as possible to each station’s original vibe.

For now, this mod works only as a User Music add-on. I wish I could integrate these tracks directly into the game’s existing stations, but I don’t currently know how to do that without replacing the original songs—something I consider blasphemy.

About the Tracklist
You might notice that some stations have more songs than others. That’s intentional. Rockstar clearly prioritized certain stations in the base game, especially The Beat, The Vibe, and LRR. Those stations also had the most beta/deleted tracks, so I focused on them more heavily too. That said, my long-term goal is to balance out the content across all stations without resorting to filler tracks—and I believe that’s completely doable.

Community Feedback
I want this project to stay open and collaborative. I’d love to hear your feedback, suggestions, and recommendations. The ultimate goal is to build something definitive—a version of GTA IV’s radio that most players will want to include in their game by default. It’s a massive task, but I’m committed to doing it right.

We're currently sitting at an even 210 songs, but that number will definitely grow with future updates.

Thank You :3
Thanks for checking out the mod! This is just the very first update, but I’m really excited to keep it going.

Add this group to your favorites to stay updated on new releases. I plan to drop updates every time I add around 100–200 new songs to the pack.

I'm noticing during testing that some songs are noticeably quieter than others. I am compiling a list of each song has issues with the audio.

If you have quiet audio or a low quality rip playing in the car, log it here. I will see and it will be fixed in future updates.
