(𝙢𝙖𝙠𝙚 𝙨𝙪𝙧𝙚 𝙩𝙤 𝙤𝙥𝙚𝙣 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙜𝙖𝙢𝙚 𝙖𝙩 𝙡𝙚𝙖𝙨𝙩 𝙤𝙣𝙘𝙚 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙨𝙖𝙫𝙚 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙜𝙖𝙢𝙚 𝙩𝙤 𝙘𝙧𝙚𝙖𝙩𝙚 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙙𝙖𝙩𝙖) Uninstall the game folder and Steam and reinstall, to make sure there are no more mods, as this could cause conflict.
STEP 2
download the crimson mod, extract the .rar and place the files in the dmc hd collection folder https://github.com/berthrage/Devil-May-Cry-3-Crimson/releases/tag/V0.3
STEP 3
run apply.bat which is in the data folder and the other in the folder where the executables are located. (It has two apply.bat)
STEP 4 (END)
Okay, now have fun!

i have zero mods
it doesnt work
it just gave me the of main menu and nothing did work

Hey Max! thanks for the guide!
I've tried this and the new installer method, but both of them give me an "invalid platform" error message when I try to launch the game, any ideas how to fix it?

do i extract the mod in the base DMCHD collection folder or in DMC3 folder (i know you mentioned it in step 3 but i just want to make sure)
