A personal list of who's who so I can help gear someone before a mission. this is short and to the point. (note: this doesn't cover robots or turrets. there's very little info on them, but in gen just don't use poison, fire or cold on them and you will be fine)

'armor' means what stat your armor stat should be focused on

'weapon' means what type of element your weapon should use.

Armor:
You want to take armor with good pierce and shock. they do have the odd cut user so keep in mind
Weapons:
Use Fire, Shock, or Cut weapons.
Church of Revelation
Armor:
All physical stats are good. I find they use slugs, and normal 12 gag and use penetration rifle rounds. later they get fire.
Weapons:
Poison is ideal. but blunt can work
Civil Resistance
Armor:
One of the more spread out pools of weapons. but mostly cut and pierce
Weapons:
Blunt and Shock is the best, but cold and poison is also good.
Coreward MG
Armor:
cut, puncture and lesser fire.
Weapons:
Early you can use cut, but later you want to use fire, poison, beam or shock
Daydream Chems
Armor:
Poison is the big one, but frost, cut and blunt should also been a focus
Weapons:
Most physical stuff is good, but cut is best. cold or shock for elemental
Dilthey
Armor:
blunt and shock. tho they will use pierce a lot as well
Weapons:
Poison, beam, cut
Feathered Masks
Armor:
All physical and poison. Do what you can (IT'S NO LONGER COLD DAMAGE)
Weapons:
Pierce and cut for physical. Fire, shock or beam for element
Franche-Comte PS
Armor:
Shock, pierce, cut and Blunt. (They do have fire turrets that can spawn)
Weapons:
Fire, cold and poison
Grasshopper Technologies
Armor:
Pierce. like they also use some cut, but take pierce. in the late game you wanna swing for good fire do to them leaning to thermostat and having flame turrets that can spawn
Weapons:
Honestly you can take just about anything. Will test more
PlanetBridge
Armor:
Once more: pierce def is your friend. Sometimes using cut and blunt
Weapons:
Ironically they are weakest to pierce for a lot of the early game. Fire always holds up
RealWare
Armor:
Cut, blunt and pierce.
Weapons:
beam, shock and poison. early you can get away with blunt and pierce as well.
SBN
Armor:
beam, and pierce. later they get plasma so a little fire won't hurt
Weapons:
cut is very good. but cold and poison also works
Shedu's Thousand
Armor:
fire, plasma, and pierce are their standard.
Weapons:
cold ideally. but you pierce can sometimes work. I need to test more
Sunlight Coven
Armor:
Beam is the biggest thing. second being plasma. sometimes they use smgs or knifes with cut.
Weapons:
Blunt or cut. but they tend to share armor with Realwear.
Tezctlan
Armor:
Poison, cut and blunt are the most common. but they do have pierce as well
Weapons:
Pierce, fire and beam.
Unchained Belt
Armor:
Blunt and cut. they sometimes use pierce.
Weapons:
Earily they run around in rags so anything, but poison or fire works. later you wanna switch to beam

@Fastbiter you're right! Low key just forgot about it. But I've also seen them with flame turrets so going add fire as a good resist to have as well.

Grasshopper Technologies has late game soldiers with microwave sniper rifles which can fire from beyond the line of sight. They also often have double shot implants, which can result in a sudden death without resistance to fire.
