Resources, Guides and Links for both Beginner and Advanced Topics
By Mr_Bob
There are already a number of guides and information on Exilium spread across the interwebs. This guide is mainly meant to provide a more centralized access location depending on the topics Commanders might want to explore. After all, not reading in the Yellow Zones will be a quick ticket to being a Varjager target or ELID bait.

Starter Pack Beginner's Guide[docs.google.com] : Best if you want to read a bit to hit the ground running and has a bevy of useful sections.

Extended Beginner's Guide [rentry.org]: Covers everything from terminology, gameplay loop (dailies), character procurement (gacha), equipping your team and some tips on resource usage.

Unit Breakdown
List of Units[docs.google.com] - credit wewechoo :
A very useful dossier of each character, their class, abilities, upgrades, statistics, and some build suggestions all in one. Note that this table is updated from the CN server so there are some units that Global players have not encountered yet.

The gameplay revolves around tactically moving, shooting and completing objectives on a grid. Having a balance of classes with firepower (Sentinels), sustain (Supports / Bulwarks) and movement (Vanguards) will serve you well. That said, much of the content, especially the main Campaign is purposefully easy so that even flower-sniffers can experience all the story. Power is important, but using who you like will be most enjoyable.

Lore and Links
Girls Frontline 2: Exilium is set in the same universe as it's predecessor Girls Frontline (released May 20, 2016) which covers the events that happened 10 years prior to this sequel and features many of the same characters. Project Neural Cloud (released September 23, 2021) is a side story that happens in a cyberworld. Reverse Collapse: Codename Bakery (released March 21, 2024) may or may not be an alternate future timeline.

The main Exilium webpage[gf2exilium.sunborngame.com] has a few useful lore entries designed to familiarize you with some of the world and the major organizations within. Check both World and Keywords.

The in-game Server Room has a load of exposition for characters that occur before, during or after events of the main campaign. Diving into some of these stories should give a better understanding and appreciation if you take the time. Exilium Chronology[docs.google.com]

The Girls Frontline Wiki[iopwiki.com] is a community accumulation of all sorts of images and tidbits for the events and characters in the MICA universe.

A "Brief" 60-page summary[docs.google.com] of the events of the first Girls Frontline (nearly a story of 10 years in the making). Or a more immersive event viewer[gfstory-en.pages.dev], complete with sfx and Auto button for your marathon movie needs.

Advanced Topics
The weapon attachment[docs.google.com] system can be a real pain of randomly generated stats for your equipment. A couple of guides already go over them, but in case you wanted some statistical analyses on how to approach this end-game chase - credit 聊以行国
NOTE: There is now a new type of weapon attachment calibration that will eventually max base stats and boosts to 200%, but takes a lot of gold and time to acquire the needed Fire Control Chips. These chips are best spent on 3/3 attachments with average roll ~160%, prioritizing Attack Boost%.

Damage Calculator[docs.google.com]

Exilium has an in-game shop, and while all gameplay elements, missions and units certainly don't need any spending (personally speaking as a completely F2P account), there are premium skins and extra tickets to acquire characters if you open your wallet. Here's a Buyer's Guide[docs.google.com] if you're looking on how to get the best bang for your buck for more characters.

A lot of these guides were not created by me, but I've benefited from reading them.
If you see your own work and want it removed or be given proper credit, it's no issue.
Thanks.
