Unlocking the car
I've seen a lot of people vaguely explain how they got the muscle car without any real clarification, so I wanted to clear up any confusion.



No specific endings are required, just any 3 endings must be completed.

(The requirement is 3 endings, but the failure ending counts as well.)

I've seen some complete the inheritance and jail endings, some get the race and jail endings, one got the rehab and inheritance ending, and i got the mountain and festival endings. Any combination seems to work, and then you will immediately unlock the car.


Muscle Car fuel & durability
The muscle car starts with 8 durability and 16 gas, i'd recommending getting familiar with the game's systems and a decent build before giving it a shot, otherwise its very fun and great to customize. (upgrades can increase these stats, of course)

Trunk Space
The trunk has a 3x7 area, and 2 seats can be folded down, each offering a separate 4x3 space. (as Dezmonik mentioned, they can only be folded if both are folded.)

@kurtericadem Seats are foldable in 1981 Sedan and 1970 Muscle but not in 1988 Truck.

I think some decals/paints exclusive to cars, as well as some upgrades (I never saw suspension, skirts and roof tent while driving muscle car)

@Gr8RedDragon Yeah I think so, I just unlocked the Muscle car and at my first garage I got a pink spray. I visited at least 15 garages (probably way more) in total over my first 3 runs and never got pink

Just unlocked muscle car and I see new spray paint colors at auto shops now. Is the pink for sale only after you unlock muscle car?

Like i mentioned, 3 endings are technically required. Failure counts, so you can always just start a game and lose quickly

Got inheritance and festival ending and didnt get the car.

It's worth noting that both seats have to be down at the SAME TIME, so if you have more than one hitchhiker, you're only going to have a 3x7 space for items (besides a roof rack).
