I'd argue that the better and faster option is Lucky Rat's "+4 rerolls in first 4 waves" perk, with the added reroll. You can restart a run any time in the run, and with the 20% chance of rerolls you'll much more easily be able to spam rerolls at the start than you will with having to survive all the way to wave 25 to do it.
I do have one suggestion though for the Vanilla Rat achievement: Specify that you only need to disable the character-specific tree skills. You can still use the computer skills.
Spent hours trying to win without any skills at all and I don't think it's even possible.
Tried it with computer skills enabled and I still got the achievement.
