The Fallen Catstartes of the Dark Feline Chaos, also known as the Traitor Castartes, are dark, traitorous legions that have renounced the Allcat and the All Purr of the Divine Purr and his holy mission, pledging their lives and souls to the foul power of the Dark Cat Chaos. Corrupted by the ancient, twisted Void energies of the Claw of Terror.

After the Heresy of Meowus Bloodclaw - the first Purrmarch, once the beloved kit of the All Purr who was seduced by the Dark Purr, they turned their backs on the Cat Imperium, instead embracing the destructive power of the Dark Feline Gods of Chaos. In doing so, they swayed 8 Catstartes Chapters, including their own, leading to their betrayal and the War of the Wailing Wail.

Each Chapter is driven by different motivations and criminal goals, from bloodthirsty lusts of destruction to subtle manipulation and dark rituals that warp reality. Led by the Fallen Purrmarchs, once noble warriors of the Allcat, they are now terrifying, demonic leaders, bearers of the Cat Chaos, betrayal and destruction. Their bodies and minds have been twisted by the foul energies of the Cat Chaos, making them deadly spawns of demonic power.

Depending on the Chapter, each represents a different aspect of the Dark Cat Gods of Chaos - from the bloody fury of Meowus' Blood Claws, to the sinister mystery of the Shadows of Meowing Chaos, to the decay of the Rotten Fangs of the Void, to the obsessive fury of the Claws of Eternal Madness. Whatever their differences, they are united by their hatred of the Allcat, their desire to bring down the Cat Imperium, and their total submission to the mighty forces of the Dark Chaos. Their presence on the battlefields is a harbinger of doom – dark armies of possessed, merciless cats who sow death and destruction, perverting every sacred value of the Great Meowmer and destroying that which he has sought to protect. The fallen Catstartes are a living reminder of the price of betrayal and the eternal wail of the Claw of Terror


Before we move on to the individual fallen Chapters Catartes, it is worth mentioning a little about the Cat Chaos itself. These Deities are – Kratzath ( Goddess of Scratches ), Fur'oul ( Lord of Crazy Running ), Gnash-k't ( Lord of Hysterical Meowing ) and Purr'eth ( Goddess of Darkness and Void ) – they drew them into their traps with promises of Eternal Purring and Infinite Power.

1. Meowus Bloodclaws
◦ Colors: Red, black, and gold.
◦ Description: Led by Meowus Bloodclaw himself, their goal is to destroy the Empire of Cats and corrupt the legacy of the Allcat. They are the emanations of all the Dark Chaos Cat Gods born from the Claw of Terror.

2. Shadows of Meowing Chaos
◦ Colors: Purple and black.
◦ Description: Enigmatic, elusive saboteurs and impassive murderers in the service of Purr'eth - the Feline mother of Void and Nothingness. There is little mention of them. If the shadow has no form, what then are these fallen Catstartes?

3. Rotten Fangs of the Void
◦ Colors: Green and brown.
◦ Description: They serve Fur'oul, their feline bodies rotting but never weakening. They love decay, the sight of their enemies writhing in disease and malignity. They have a contempt for life in all its forms.

4. Claws of Eternal Madness
◦ Colors: Orange and black.
◦ Description: An order of possessed warriors of the Cat Chaos serving Kratzath - the Goddess of Scratches, for whom fighting is an eternal ecstasy. They fight with truly damnable fury and madness.

5. Dark Meow
◦ Colors: Blue and purple.
◦ Description: Mystics of the Cat Chaos who warp reality around them with Dark Purr and foul rituals. Their cognition with the Dark Cat Gods of Cat Chaos, is complex.

6. Claws of Despair
◦ Colors: Burgundy and red.
◦ Description: Warriors rejected by the Allcat, who serve Purr'eth, the Goddess of Darkness and the Void of the Claw. Their dark legacy is an eternal shame. Their bloody tears still flow from the corners of their cat eyes.

7. Legion of Bloody Whiskers
◦ Colors: Red and gold.
◦ Description: Ruthless murderers who sadistically delight in sacrificing prisoners and other Cats loyal to the Allcat, for the vile glory of all the Dark Gods of the Feline Chaos.

8. Orders of Angry Meows
◦ Colors: Gray and red.
◦ Description: Warriors who swore vengeance on the entire Cat Imperium, gouging out their right eye. And both their allegiance to a specific Chaos Feline God, and their motivations, remain a mystery.

9. Nightmare Manes
◦ Colors: Black and green.
◦ Description: Possessed cat sorcerers of the Dark Chaos Cat, who summon cat demons in battle. Almost completely consumed by the Chaos Feline God - Gnash-k't.
