Preface
Whipped this up in a few hours after noticing the PC port for this game doesn't support PlayStation button prompts (pretty common for CH games at this point) since I wanted to hunt the achievements like I did the first game. I also went ahead and replaced most of the tutorial graphics with ones from the PS4 release (most of the PC versions are zoomed in or stretched for some reason, one was even unaltered from the PS4 release and still had PS buttons), as well as some other UI elements not handled by the general prompt sprite sheet. I will probably update this in the future if I encounter things I forgot to replace, as its been years since I last played this game (on the Switch too lol).

Please keep in mind that only the English tutorial and splash screen graphics have been replaced. The Chinese, Japanese, and Korean graphics have not. However, the button prompt changes will still be present across all localizations.

I'm not sure if it's possible to restore the touchpad's functionality in this port, so those buttons will remain the same (L3).

Download Link (~578MB)[pastebin.com]
The download comes with two files:
GxArchivedFile051.dat & GxArchivedFile064.dat
The former is responsible for the generic button prompts, while the latter is for other UI elements and tutorial screens. Both of these files go in the following directory:
.../steamapps/common/DeathEndReQuest2/resource/masterWin64

You'll know the mod is working if you see this screen when booting the game:
CHANGELOG:

Potential Future Plans
I spent some time also trying to fix the very odd font change made in this release that changes the font originally used in the first game, PS4 release, and the 2021 Switch port to a generic (and rather distracting/unfitting) font, however I'm not not sure what's handling that. Based on other CH games like Neptunia, the fonts are likely still handled by .ffu files, however this game has a billion of those of varying in file size. As far as I'm aware when I was looking in the PS4 version's files I didn't find any .ffu files, likely meaning something else may be handling it on console. In any case, would be nice to find a way to fix the font in the future, so if anyone has any tips or leads it would be appreciated.
