AMD PERFORMANCE TWEAKS

I think you people already know that games lately favor Nvidia. That being the case, people reported playing COD AW on ATI GPUs and having poor performance. And well, that's why i'm here: to help you make the game playable or at least semi-playable

Game Settings

Launch the game, go to OPTIONS and then:
1. Turn off SHADOWS
2. Turn off SCREEN SPACE AMBIENT OCCLUSION
3. Turn off SUPER SAMPLING
4. Set DYNAMIC LIGHTS to 4 or less
5. Play the game in BORDERLESS MODE

Game Config Settings

1. Go to your Steam folder

2. Click SteamApps

3. Click common

4. Click Call of Duty Advanced Warfare

5. Click players2

6. Click config_mp

After you've opened config_mp
(press CTRL+F for searching inside a notepad)
1. Search for dynEnt_active "1" (that's the default value) and set it to 0. It should look like dyn_Ent_active "0"

2. Search for r_videoMemoryScale (the default value may vary) and set it to 0 or 1. It should look like r_videoMemoryScale "0" OR r_videoMemoryScale "1"

3. Save and exit
4. Right click config_mp, click Properties and check Read-only

Catalyst Control Center

1. Open up Catalyst Control Center
2. Go to Gaming
3. Go to 3D Application Settings
4. Click +Add under the Apllication Settings tab
5. There should be a window popping out. Go to Steam, SteamApps, common, Call of Duty Advanced Warfare and click on s1_mp64_ship then click Open
6. Change Tessellation Mode from AMD optimized to Override application settings
7. Change Maximum Tessellation Level from AMD optimized to Off

It should look like this:

Maybe you should get the modded drivers instead of the official ones.

im getting DirectX encountered an unrecoverable error , all drivers up to date running a i7 ,16gb ram ,GTX 770 someone help

Everything maxed out on my MSI R9 390 runs perfect. Don't know why people say this game is bad on ATI Radeon cards

i just dont get it as im useing a crosshair v formula z mobo.
amd 9370 cpu. a16g of ram. xfx 390 gpu.and have not had one problem at all and im on windows 10 pro 64bit

since i got my 390X , my game freezes on the new exo zombies map so far , yet i can play burger town for over 3 hours my specs if anyone has a solution

Przecież to kurwa nic nie daje. A czemu? Bo z gówna bata nie ulepisz. Ta gra jest spierdolona jeśli chodzi o optymalizację w multi. Kurwa mać tyle czasu minęło od premiery i dalej mapy Defender, Instinct, Recovery, Ascend, Riot są zjebane i niegryalne. ta gra to jeden wielki lag a opóźnienia takie, że żygać się chce
