All you need to do is:

1. Acces you game files by right-clicking Brighter Shores in steam > Properties > Game FIles > Browse local files

2. Go to x64 folder and copy steam_appid.txt

3. Go back to main folder and open x86 folder. Paste the file you copied to this folder

The game should launch just fine!

Still didn't fix the issue. I've tried pretty much everything.

Quick fix = Uninstall and never play it again
