Mission 100

In DBZ Budokai Tenkaichi 3 (Sparking! Meteor) one of the most memorable modes of the game is the Mission 100 mode, which boasted, as the name suggests, 100 Missions of increasing difficulty to beat. While Sparking Zero offers 30 Bonus Battles (and more Official Custom Battles to come in the future as the Zen-ou missions suggest in World Library Mission 8), and the Custom Battle mode, I thought to myself: "wouldn't it be nice if you could just play Mission 100 in this game from the first to the last mission all in order?"
Thus I bring you this, it is currently a work in progress, but I'm going to try and make all 100 Missions from the first to the last one in the next 2 weeks. This will serve as a pre-emptive guide on how you can play it.
How to Play with a Fresh New Coat of Paint

I'll keep things brief, the next section in this guide will contain the codes for each and every battle in order, i'll update this regularly as I finish making and posting the battles, so be sure to come back and check them out.

Step 1: In the World Library, use the in-game "Search By ID" function and insert the code for the first battle (2-538-425-459) or any of the codes featured in this guide.

Step 2: Add the mission to your Favorites. This will make the next steps easier in the future as you can always access your Favorites List, select the saved mission, and follow Steps 3-5 whenever you feel like it.

Step 3: Open the Sub-Menu, and pick "View Player Post List". This will bring you to the List of missions posted by yours truly, where all the Mission 100 missions should be.

Step 4: Sort the battles by Post Date, in Ascending order, ignore the first four posted battles that I've made (or play them, they're pretty fun :P). You can easily identify the Mission 100 recreations since they're only tagged with "Ultimate Battle" under their thumbnails, as a homage to the Ultimate Battle mode of BT3 which Mission 100 is a part of.

Step 5: Enjoy the journey starting from the first mission (Turtle School and Crane School) all the way to the final one, or pick the one you'd like to play and beat.

Be sure to give the missions a like and add them to favorites and recommend them to your friends if you enjoyed playing!

I've taken the liberty to add some secret bosses and fights to some of these missions to keep things fresh and interesting and utilize the Custom Battle Creator's features. Additionally, any missing characters that didn't return from BT3 in SZ will be replaced by others that feel appropriate for the missions in question. And finally, since Custom Battle does not give the option to provide a DP limit on the player's team, I've set the standard to be: 15DP = 2 Characters, 20DP = 3 Characters. The rest of the missions retain their original team counts, with a few exceptions of course.

Happy Fighting!
Battle Codes (WIP)
If you don't feel like following the previous steps, just locate the mission you'd like from BT3 and search for the code from this section of the guide, here they are in order as they appear in BT3's Mission 100. ... more coming soon

Looks like the game has a hard limit of 50 battles that you can have posted at a time, not just 50 saved on your gamesave, meaning that if i want to post anything past battle 47, i have to delete some of the posted battles i've made, which means the project would fail. And it also means that having 50 battles posted on my account will prevent me from posting anything else i come up with for this mode. I will take a break from this project for a bit and try to figure out a way to solve this issue. the solutions i'm considering are:

1- create a burner steam account and family share the game to post 50 or so of the battles to immortalize them through said accounts
2- get help from friends to post some of the battles instead of making new accounts.
3- perform a purge/cull of the battles that are already posted and remove the ones that are too basic/don't have an interesting gimmick.
4- abandon the project

Needless to say, each of these solutions comes with its own pros and cons, especially #3 beating the point of "mission 100" and #4 is something I personally don't want to do. I will have to take some time to decide on one of these solutions and implement them. until then, thanks for playing the custom battles i've made, and i hope the solution i come up with is most satisfactory for everyone. Cheers

Thanks man:er_uwu:! Have added almost all missions. But I think 4 missions weren't available. For instance mission 26, there is missing a number in the code I guess? Have played the first 4 missions and they are GREAT!:praisesun::praisesun::praisesun:

thanks for the advice, i'll consider these options in some of the upcoming battles once i've figured out how to circumvent the 50-posted-battles limit. i also found that using the Raging Skill/Blast items give the cpu a considerable buff to their behavior and damage potential.
i also know that setting certain conditions for switching cpu type should provide more challenge, someone made a custom battle for training your super counters that utilizes this trick so i'm planning on learning how exactly he did that and implement a similar trick to up the difficulty of the AI to something similar for the final 20 battles

You can also apply buffs to the CPU when the sparking trigger has activated. Although the buffs feature is a bit lame as they only last 10 seconds. So I use capsules to emulate buffs by adding a removing when sparking activates and deactivates. Although the HP drain 10 second debuff can be a fun one to use when someone goes into sparking mode to emulate a physical strain tapping into extra power.

Regarding making the game harder I've found some useful methods for this using custom battle creator as I'm currently making a "boss battle" series that will feature some insanely difficult fights. I find the use of defence increasing capsules (CPU) and attack dmg reducing capsules (player) works well. I also make it a little more difficult for the player to charge up their Ki and put an energy reducing capsule on them.

I've also found the biggest weakness to the AI is sparking mode. So I usually handicap the ability to get into sparking mode by making it so a player needs 40% HP left or it only activates after a particular trigger, such as an ally being eliminated. You can do this by using the no sparking capsule.

Damn it sucks that there is a limit. Maybe someone could colab with you to finish the remaining 50 😕

no, there IS a limit to the battles you can post as well, i posted the 47 battles in this guide and 3 others prior to them, unfortunately the game refuses to let me post any more, giving me a "connection error" when i attempt to post any more battles, i have to delete one of the posted battles to post more
