I swear whoever designed this mechanic is a psychopath who loves gaslighting people into making them think this is an easy manouver by not only gating actual content in the game behind learning this technique but deliberately being vague in the tutorial on how to perform this.

Depth perception is a real pain when you're trying to do this and the camera is directly behind Shadow. I swear I released the button right at the bottom so many times, yet he just doesn't continue his momentum upwards for whatever reason.

Thank you so much! I have been trying to figure this out for a very long time and always thought that you needed to press "X" and then let go.
