Proper 2K UI - Anbennar

This mod builds off of the previous efforts made by the Proper 2K UI and Proper 2K UI Enhanced projects, but adapted for use with Anbennar.

This is a standalone mod, so there's no need to download the original versions.

What's different?
All Anbennar GFX assets have been properly uspcaled to native 2K resolution variants, with accompanying modifications to the GUI files.

Limitations
Unfortunately, magic and dwarven expedition menus don't scale particularly well. This is because they're not really UI in the traditional sense, but rather a hodgepodge of events and images.

As such, these menus may look a bit wonky. However, that said, they're still perfectly readable, and I would argue that the overall improved gameplay experience more than makes up for it.

⚠️ This mod is solely made for use with Anbennar and will crash without it. ⚠️

4K version?
  • Since I don't play on 4K myself, it makes it hard to maintain proper support for such a mod. Instead, I recommend using this mod but with a GUI scale of around 1.2 - 1.3.

Hi!

Any chance this mod could be made in a way that doesnt change the checksum? It is really painful to combine people with 1980 and people with 4k

Hi! Love your mod, it saved my back from bending to the monitor! But if I can advice - I know that commonly 1440p is called 2K resolution but technically it's not. True 2K is 1080 while 1440p is 2,5K. So if I can recomend maybe add some clarification in description. All luck for you with future projects!

I'm intending on downloading Doge's ideas and buildings mods, do you know off the top of your head if there is a known conflict with them, or should they work well together?

My eyes thank you for making this mod.

Also, it seems this is incompatible with Dwarven Knowledge. Running both of them causes the top-left UI elements to get severely distorted and misaligned. As Dwarven Knowledge adds more Anbennar-style tacked on UI elements, I suppose that isn't much of a surprise.

Hello. Thank you for your excellent mod; it's made playing Anbennar much easier for me.

I was wondering if it was possible to adjust the scaling (on my end, maybe) for 1920x1080, which is my monitor's naitve resolution. I can hardly read the game's text at normal scaling and EU4's own GUI scaling feature is not very good, especially with Anbennar.

The principal difficulty is that the bottom tenth or so of the GUI seems to be cut off, so I'm missing the yes/no buttons on the Declare War popup, information at the bottom of menus, and some other icon with a crown I can't quite make out.

The mod has now been updated for Fires of Conviction. Let me know if you encounter any bugs and I'll have a look at it after the holidays.

On my end I just changed the dependencies to include steam anbennar and BB and it seems to work fine
