Finding File Location
!ALSO PLEASE READ THIS MESSAGE!
This is for Windows 11, I'm not so sure about Windows 10 and below.

lets start with the file location!

how do you find the file location!?!

First, click Windows Key + R to open the Run Menu. Then, type in all lowercase no spaces: appdata

Then it should open file explorer and have 3 folders. Then click "Local".

Then follow this path:
Drive\Users\Name\AppData\Local\BrickRigs\SavedRemastered\Vehicles

Then in the search bar, type "Preview"

Once you see ALL of the pictures, find your item, (e.g. a car) and then right click on the image, and click "Open File Location". This will then take you to the folder of the image.
Editing Photo
Now that you found the file location, lets get on to the editing.

With a photo editor of your choice, edit your picture.

!IMPORTANT NOTES!
  • Scale MUST be 256 x 256 px (pixels)
  • Needs to be named Preview when your importing it

Tips for photo:
  • Get a good photo ingame
  • Set the time to a good time
  • Find a good location

my photo looks like this:
Adding Photo
Now that you have made the photo, lets add it.

Step 1: Name the image "Preview"

Now you can add it. Drag and drop the photo into the folder, you should then get a popup like this:

Now, Press "Replace the file in the destination" and then it should work and replace the image!

lol I only thought to check the steam community after hours of searching online and watching videos from 5 years ago where everything is outdated. Oh, how I waste my time.
