Here is an easy way you can apply infinite saves to Fear & Hunger, by switching the Book of Fears with the Book of enlightenment, allowing you to save every time you use the Book of fears.

Step:1. Go to the file path steamapps>common>Fear & Hunger>www>data
The easiest way is to right click on the game in the steam library, hover over manage, and click 'browse local files' and follow the rest of the path from there.


Step:2. Open the file named 'items' in the notes app


Step:3. Ctrl+f and search the word Fears


This is what you will see around the highlighted text, find around the halfway part marked by a square bracket and scan until you see "dataId:139"

Then simply change the value 139 to 22



Step:4. Search the word Enlightenment


Same as above this time for the Enlightenment section, find about halfway down the block starting with the square bracket and search for "dataId":22

And switch the 22 for 139



Step:5. Save the File and Open the game, now if you have a previous save where you already have the Book of Fears you will be able to save every time you use it.

But if you don't have it or are starting a fresh save it may call for some trial and error, because the book of fears spawn location can be different.

But it will always be in the beginning part of the castle on a desk.


In this case it was to the right of the entrance:



And in this one it was to the left and up a hallway into a room which may or may not have a guard camping the desk:



*The guard will be right about where Cahara is standing*




Once you officially obtain the Book of Fears you can save every time you use it, Happy Saving!
