This is a small compatibility support mod destined to ease the work of the Merger mods (Merger of Rules or UGRP) to reduce the amount of errors in the log.

This patch is mandatory for the support of Real Space by the Merger of Rules.
This mod will work with any load order.

Yes, after some testing it seems (my) game cannot be run without The Merger of Rules. But with it enabled, the game will inevitably crash when loading a new save.

Disabling The Merger of Rules causes any attempt to start a new save to get stuck on the loading screen indefinitely. Guess I'll just have to wait for an update

The Merger of Rules isn't updated to 4.0 so don't use it.
For this mod, it's versionless, all it does is adding compatibility flags that the mod author didn't care to add.

Does this mod require an update for 4.0? Starting to suspect it (or The Merger of Rules) is behind my crashes when loading new empire saves
