Yeah I made a new version that will work with pretty much any seat. If you have both this one and the new one installed this one will be disabled.

*TO EVERYONE HAVING ISSUES WITH THEIR WEAPONS NOT SHOWING UP AND BEING UNUSABLE*
Some users have indicated that "Playable Piano" is actually to blame for this issue. If you cannot see your weapon in the seat, make sure you disable Playable Piano first. I have no idea what in the addon causes this.

This is an addon designed to allow builders to designate "gunner" seats on their vehicles and contraptions. This works on most chairs and seats, but will not work with the HL2 prisoner pod. It is also compatible to some degree with vehicles like SligWolf's Golf Karts/Snowmobile/Motorcycle, although in multiplayer, there is an issue where a player's weapon will fire double the intended bullets and make the firing sound twice. That being said, again, this addon is only intended to be used with chairs and seats (Although if I can fix the aforementioned issue I will).

Usage is simple: Simply navigate to "BFG's Weapon Seats>Seat Weaponizer" under the tools menu. Left click allows you to use weapons in whatever vehicle you're looking at; right click removes the ability.

For SCars, navigate to "BFG's Weapon Seats>S-Cars Weaponizer" under the tools menu. Left click to designate an SCar's passenger seats as weapon seats, right click to undo it. Reload toggles weapon usage on the driver seat.

Features:
-Allows players to shoot from their seats.
-Adds an in-seat crosshair for weapon bases that automatically hide their crosshair while in a vehicle, like M9K or the default HL2 weapons.
-Compensates your view so that your aim position is ALWAYS at the center of the screen.
-Fixes Viewpunch, SetPunchAngles, and view kick recoil issues
-Compatible with SCars

-Make the in-seat crosshair toggleable by console variable

WHAT THIS ADDON DOES NOT DO:
-Let you shoot from ANY of the ACF seats/pods
-Let you shoot from certain models of jeeps/airboats that have collision meshes blocking the driver's seat (e.g. default HL2 jeep, default HL2 Airboat). Some vehicles I know are compatible with this are SligWolf's Go Karts, SligWolf's Snowmobile, and SligWolf's Motorcycle. The HL2EP2 Jalopy is also compatible.
-Allow you to shoot things like rockets and rifle grenades from certain seats depending on how fast you are going. I honestly have no idea how to reliably fix this issue.
-Add seat damage; don't complain to me if people are killing other people in seats without being able to be killed themselves. I may upload an addon that adds this functionality if this becomes an issue.
