Hide Unowned DLC

Beskrivning
A script that dynamically hides a player's unowned DLC blocks from their build menu. With this mod, everyone's build menu adapts to their DLCs, so everyone is happy(?)
Not compatible with progression.

Unlike non-scripted solutions, this shouldn't need an update for every new DLC, and will dynamically adjust to everyone's owned DLCs.
Sadly there's limits to the API, and it's not as clean as I'd want it, but this is the price you pay for adaptability.

Stuff it doesn't hide:
  • Unowned DLC blocks that belong to a block variant group that has any owned blocks (vanilla or DLC) will not get hidden.
  • Instead, their name gets removed so they don't show up in search.
  • The name is moved to the block description instead.
  • This is a limitation of the mod API (or my brain)

Known issues:
  • Doesn't play well with progression enabled.

I haven't tested this with DLCs because I don't own any. It should work properly, but let me know if it's broken.

Feel free to improve on this mod, and credit me if you feel like it.

Checked it and nope, still working as intended and doesn't need an update. The new DLCs are hidden properly for me.
The DLC blocks you're seeing are probably there because of scripting limitations or because you have progression enabled (read the desc. please)

Finally found such a mode that works! Thanks. And works with progression tree.

P.S. some DLC are still present, would be nice to update mode to hide those as well.

@DSALTOVSKY Nope, it still works. The whole point of this mod was that it wouldn't need updating.

Make sure you have progression disabled in the world settings if something's weird.

Cool! But it's time to update the mod.

@stich83guy Alright, finally happened to test this with progression enabled, I think that's what you were seeing? Not sure how I'd fix that honestly... So I guess it's incompatible with progression for now, sorry.

It has to show some DLC so you don't crash when clicking on a hidden DLC block, this is a limitation of doing it dynamically. The names of the DLC blocks are removed to hide them in the search if that's what you mean by empty blocks.

Or do you actually see block groups that have no vanilla blocks in them and blocks without icons? Maybe post a screenshot, hard to tell what's up just from your comment.

Ok, I can replicate this if I downgrade to 1.202, weird. I wonder what's different in that version...
Anyway, I'm not gonna spend time making it work for older versions, sorry.

No other mods. I am talking about block categories. I can mute individual blocks on my own though I did not do so for this test. There's no mixing with vanilla blocks in these groups. All are DLC.
