Unlocking Fps Cap

Hey guys, this guide will teach you how to disable fps lock. I have 144hz monitor and when i started game first time i realized game was playing at 33.3fps, it's 45fps for some others, so easy to unlock this here you go;

1. Go to \Steam\SteamApps\common\GodMode\bin and open game.cfg file with notepad

2. Find this part;

Video = {
VIDEO_SizeX = 1280
VIDEO_SizeY = 1024
VIDEO_BPP = 32
VIDEO_Show = 1

and change as;

Video = {
LockFps = 0
VIDEO_SizeX = 1280
VIDEO_SizeY = 1024
VIDEO_BPP = 32
VIDEO_Show = 1

3. Just save and close, so basicly you added LockFps = 0 there, and you can play your game with higher fps as smooth anymore, thanks for reading this guide, have fun.

Confirmed this works but damn what a terrible game. FOV is horrible, moving the mouse its like snapping to a grid, the movment speed is extreemly too slow, and having to reload every 3 seconds is horrible.

Send your game.cfg file to your friend let him do the instructions and send you back :)

I have a windows 7 pc. and my friend has windows 8. Theirs works, but mine doesnt, if i try to open game.cfg with note pad, i can't it doesnt say "Open with". But my friends does..

Use msi afterburner for giving your own fps lock here is the link http://event.msi.com/vga/afterburner/download.htm probably your pc too hot because your fps is high, open the RivaTunerStatisticsServer after you install, change the Framerate Limit to your Monitor's hertz (60hz,75hz,120hz,144hz) your pc will not give effort to run the game with high fps, my monitor 144hz and i always keep my fps at 144.

Do you possibly know how to get the 33 to stay at 45? It was 45 for me at one point but now it's staying at 33 and it's too slow for me, but disabling the lock runs my PC too hot.
