The Daggerfall Covenant is one of the three joinable factions participating in the Alliance War, the other two being the Aldmeri Dominion and the Ebonheart Pact. The crest of the Daggerfall Covenant is a lion, and its colors are blue and silver.

It consists of the kingdoms of High Rock, the Kingdom of Orsinium, and the Kingdom of Sentinel. The alliance is an egalitarian association which uses its military might to secure lucrative trade routes. Led by High King Emeric of Wayrest, the Covenant seeks to capture the Ruby Throne in order to restore the Second Empire and return stability to Tamriel.

Covenant players will begin on Stros M'Kai after being washed up unconscious on the shores of the island following their escape from Molag Bal's realm of Coldharbour.

The marriage of King Emeric to Princess Maraya of Sentinel led to the Kingdom of Sentinel, under King Fahara'jad, entering a trade agreement with High Rock. The Orcs of Orsinium, led by King Kurog, joined the alliance after Emeric pledged to restore their kingdom following their assistance in Ranser's War; however, there are a number of Orcish tribes both in and outside of the Wrothgarian Mountains who remain independent of the Covenant.

Stros M'Kai is a desert island off the coast of Hammerfell. The island was one of the first landfalls settled by the Redguards when they sailed east from their lost homeland of Yokuda. Stros M'Kai is a haven for piracy, and many of the Pirates of the Abecean Sea consider it their home port. The island is run by Headman Bhosek from his palace in Port Hunding. Small whale-bone whistles, carved to resemble reclining mermaids, are a popular item between the sailors and pirates of the island, especially to those of Saintsport.

The island is where Daggerfall Covenant players begin their journey after escaping Coldharbour. Over the course of the Covenant questline, Captain Kaleen will hire you to gather a crew to raid Bhosek's palace and find proof that he has violated the law of the Redguard king Fahara'jad calling for an end to the raiding of Breton shipping.

Betnikh
Betnikh is a small island off the southern tip of High Rock, with steep cliffs and a lush, fertile interior. Formerly owned by the Bretons, the island of Betony was conquered by the Orcs of the Seamount Clan centuries ago, and renamed Betnikh. The clan still inhabits the main stronghold, the Stonetooth Fortress.

The Stonetooth Fortress has recently been attacked by the Bloodthorn Cult; meanwhile, Captain Kaleen seeks to convince the clan to sign up to the Daggerfall Covenant. To travel to Stonetooth Fortress for the first time you must sail from Stros M'Kai via Gilzir.

Thieves Guild Adventures
ahhh yes Never Stealz is my name but what is a name really? As the only Khajit in the gang my natural reflexes are to steal. Now i am in Hews Bane headquarters to the thieves guild.

Hew's Bane, originally known as Khefrem's Boot, is a peninsula in southern Khefrem on the south coast of Hammerfell. The region is named after Prince Hubalajad, or "Prince Hew", who attempted to bring civilization to this corner of Hammerfell in the early days of the Ra Gada. He discovered a barren peninsula hostile to most life; scorching heat and seasonal flooding led to brackish water and ground which was unsuitable for crops. Despite his best efforts, Prince Hew was foiled at every turn, and nearly all his endeavors resulted in failure.
