Vanilla Ideology Expanded is a mini-series of mods aimed at expanding the content in ideology - be it memes, relics and symbols or icons alike.

This mod introduces a brand new style, inspired by that of the Empire from Royalty DLC. Featuring numerous new textures for many structures and weapons in the game, this mod also features built-in interactions with many of the Vanilla Expanded mods, changing furniture from Vanilla Furniture Expanded, or weapons from Vanilla Weapons Expanded, to interesting, new and unique empire-themed versions.

The existence of a brand new ritual sound and ritual effects displaying the beautiful imperial banners waving in the wind will ensure that you get filled with pride every time you execute dissidents and deserters. Fallen Empire faction will be guaranteed to spawn with this ideological style.

This mod pairs really well with Vanilla Factions Expanded - Empire and Vanilla Factions Expanded - Deserters!

Q: Can I add it mid-playthrough to an existing save?
A: Yes, of course, however no faction will actually have this style.

Q: How can I make Empire use this style in my ongoing save?
A: You have to edit their ideology using dev options!

Q: I don’t like certain textures! Can I remove them?
A: Sadly there’s no option to remove any of the elements of this mod.

Q: Where should this mod be placed in the mod load order queue?
A: Anywhere under Ideology.

Q: Is this mod compatible with other Sophian style mods?
A: Yes, they are two different styles.

Q: Does this work without Ideology?
A: No, the game doesn’t have any styles without Ideology.

Q: Does this work with Combat Extended?
A: This mod only retextures weapons. It should not break CE.

Q: Do I need Royalty DLC too?
A: Not really. Anything in this mod can be accessed without Royalty DLC, maybe except the Cataphract armor.

Q: Did you retexture royal variants of apparel too?
A: No. Since prestige armors appear exclusively in the context of Empire faction, I treat them as 'baseline' imperial look.

My biggest question is are you gonna do more mods like this for furnitures or just other styles

If I disable the ideology system (not the DLC itself) in a game, is there a way to still have the Empire have this style? Or is this default behavior?

I would love for this mod to get a texture update. Everything is perfect, but some of the textures are not on par with your other mods. It would be cool to have more styles too. You did an amazing job with this one! :er_heart:

Love how the cataphract helmet kinda resembles a phase 1 clone trooper from starwars with the helmet fin

No need, Prestige variants are by definition 'Empire-made' and they are the baseline for Sophian style.

Normal power armor helmets are changed with style, but what about prestige variants?

These textures are so beautiful, I really hope Tynan could use the textures of this mod in the next game update, they really make my base look aristocratic!
