- A short description -
Every time there's a "What should I do?" type of menu in the mod (Basically your standard "pick a date" menu) I've made sure to give a lot of player freedom to pick and choose who to go out with in whatever order they wished.

However there is an "author intended" order of events that while not neccesary, would still make the most sense to go through (And also is the one that's made sure to be as bug free as possible, as it is the most extensively tested route.)
- Let's start with the basics : Requirements -
To start Requiem, you need to have both Magmalink and Aftermath installed.

Since Aftermath is not a Steam Workshop Mod, you need to find a download link (Provided on the front page of Requiem in 2 flavors, the original author's dropbox link and a google drive mirror. These files are entirely unedited, so any bugs within were already there, but they should be irrelevant to getting Requiem working.

Aftermath in and of itself should be a single folder with a single sub-folder inside it called resource, that contains 5 more sub folders. This isn't very relevant but for simplicity's sake it should just be unzipped and drag-and-dropped into the game's "mods" folder for a clean and easy installation.

Magmalink is on the workshop, you just need to subscribe to it.

For best viewing experience try to avoid downloading/subscribing to mods that change the Status screen to the new type of Magmalink styled status where the Tarot Card is sequestered away into a separate Cards menu, and the right side key items column is changed into a horizontal row on the bottom left, which also puts the main character status portraits in the very middle of the screen.

(These include mods like Premonition, and some of the banned mods from the workshop I'm not naming for example.)

After that, the most important requirement is having the True Ending unlocked, as such you need to have seen All 5 Main Dragon's good endings (Your mileage on considering them "good" may vary.)

And of course you need to have seen Anna's bad ending (This will be required for Aftermath)

Once you have all of these all you need to do is start a New Game, go through Anna's 4 dates (Be sure to tell her you know about her cancer and accept her offer!) and then in Chapter 5 go to the fireworks with Everyone to get to the True Ending.

After the credits roll Aftermath begins. Now one might start thinking "Wait, Requiem requires this mod's bad ending, why would we suddenly start being an ass to Anna?"

Well dear readers here's where the 'Director's Cut' comes in to help. You see in Aftermath Anna has a separate Mood counter and this mood counter decides whether she lives or dies with any score of 1 or above meaning she survives and any score 0 or below she dies, there is however a set of choices where we can get exactly 0 and not make a douche out of ourselves.

These choices are as follows :
"You worry too much" (Mood -1)
"My first time with a dragon." (Mood +/- 0 )
"Dragon." (Mood +1)

Then later on when Adine and Remy ask you if you're worried about Anna, this is the pivotal point that decides whether Aftermath continues on to the good end or bad end, with the bad immediately starting Requiem once it turns out whether or not us seeing Anna die is a nightmare.

Are we worried about Anna ?
"Yes." (Mood +1) - She survives. (Continues Aftermath)
"No" (Mood +/- 0) - She dies. (Starts Requiem)

This choice is the crux of the situation. With these specific choices in hand we can eke out a 0 Mood while avoiding being an ass to our beloved snarky red dragones.

Side note : If the game is causing issues, having trouble loading, throws up a grey screen with weird Ren'py errors be sure to check over your other mods and make yourself 100% sure that they aren't incompatible with each other (Like several Adine mods on the workshop, Mod Conflict Avoidance can only do so much...) - If that still doesn't work, uninstall the game, delete every file and folder that IS NOT the Mods or Saves folder (Steam doesn't delete every file after uninstalling after all...) and then reinstall the game. Please, I cannot stress this enough. So many issues could be resolved by doing that first before anything else.
- Preamble -
There be spoilers ahead, you were warned!

Unlike the base game, Requiem is a "Date Everyone" style New Game Plus mod with a set order of events, with some dates being temporarily locked depending on when you are in the timeline currently. Either way all the roughly 24~ish "dates" (Some more date-like than others) you can pick in the mod are all required to do, with nobody getting the short end of the stick.

If you'd like to know more about how the timeline bends, check out the Secrets and Hidden Dialogue thread on the mod's page.
- Chapter 1 -
The "Author Intended" order of dates in Chapter 1 are as follows :

Lorem 1

Adine 1 (Be sure to pick any menu choice you see that's new for some extra dialogue later on)

Anna 1

Remy 1

- Intermission - Saving Anna - (Automatically started after the 4th date, this scene remixes the original Anna 1 from the main game)

Bryce 1
- Chapter 2 -
Chapter 2 is the most dense part of the mod with 9 dates to go through!

The intended order for these are :

Investigate Damion

Meet with Emera

Lorem 2

Remy 2

Side note : If Lorem 2 is Picked first, third or seventh in this chapter this automatically starts Remy 2 after Lorem 2 is over.

Side note 2 : If you haven't done Investigate Damion until the halfway point of Chapter 2 (as in if it would be your 5th out of 9 dates) - It will automatically start, no ifs ands or buts about it.

Meet with Maverick

Anna 2

Meet with Vara's Family

Bryce 2

Adine 2 (Be sure to pick "I think I can help with that", "What I'm doing now" and for her to read your "Future" for the extra dialogue later.)
- Chapter 3 -
Chapter 3 is decidedly on the shorter side, and much less dramatic than the main game. However the PTSD of the main character starts to get some cracks through the tough know-it-all facade when pressed on his relationship with Anna.

Anyways, the intended order of dates are as follows :

Remy 3

Adine 3

Lorem 3

Bryce 3

Anna 3
- Chapter 4 -
And we made it to Chapter 4, the pivotal turning point for several dragons in the story. Unlike the previous chapters where the "pick a date" showed everyone on the list and you're given almost total freedom to pick and choose who to go out with when, this one is a lot more fragmented due to the story going into high gear.

First things first, the most important to the central plot get a pick one first choice. This would be Adine and Lorem (Mainly because of Ipsum.)

The canonical choice here would be Adine 4, with the option of giving her some assistance in the shower being taken instead of declined. (And the secret dialogue happens near the start if you've picked the new Adine specific talking points in Adine 1 and 2.)

As such Lorem 4 naturally follows suit. (Also don't be a prick, you better give him a hug. )

Then comes the big one, the Save Amelia arc. This automatically starts with a single choice menu popping up, so naturally this is more of a "push the big red button" moment rather than the illusion of choice, which is...

"Call Everyone" - This begins Amelia 1 2 and 3 in sequential order.

Once that situation is all settled we get 2 out of the remaining 3 options until we have done at least one of the 2 we get. Bryce and Remy's 4th date (Well ... in this case it's more like Remy & Amelia 4 rather than just Remy 4.)

Naturally we should pick Bryce 4 first to give Amelia and Remy some time alone with Amely and to avoid drawing attention to a formerly deceased dragon suddenly popping up back to life and walking around town...

Then we get the final choice unlocked, Anna 4. Obviously we should take her option last and we should go out with Remy and Amelia first.

So then, the canonical order of the last 3 Dates are :

Bryce 4

Remy & Amelia 4

Anna 4
- Chapter 5 and End -
Our choices had led to this final pivotal point...the big menu of calling everyone together for the fireworks...

And...there's nothing much to talk about, there is no set canonical path of what order to call the dragons together for the fireworks finale, this is 100% entirely up to you since...well, you'll call everyone after all.

Go and enjoy those blasted fireworks without being interrupted by a deadly epiphany about Reza. You saved the world, you have a snarky scientist dragon girlfriend, you saved Vara and her entire family, got Amely adopted by her actual parents....and actually saved her biological mother to boot.

AND you're besties with Maverick, go you!
- Requiem 2 -
Part 2 picks up where Part 1 ends, giving you a single choice in the second "new" half of Chapter 5. This would be to either try hugging Maverick or not.

...Obviously you should, like duh.
- Chapter 6 -
While Requiem Part 2 has much fewer choices, there are specific points where you get to pick
between certain options.

For example as Chapter 6 starts you get the choice to :
1. Go shopping for groceries.
2. Order food from the Café.

Both are fully fleshed out scenes, however one of them (and the obvious canonical choice) is longer than the other. This would be "Go shopping."

Later, when you get called to assist the council by Emera to find a way to stop the impending meteor, you get to pick an assistant to come with you and Sebastian.

These choices are as follows :

1. Adine
2. Anna
3. Maverick
4. Remy

Unlike Part 1 where you can "pick a date" and then do the rest whenever, this choice is a pick-one only, and the other 3 will do other things in the meantime.

Canonically, even though it's probably the most traumatizing choice...having Maverick with you is the intended pick.

Later in the chapter, if you didn't pick Remy or Anna for your assistant you get to pick who to visit first, Amelia or Anna's lawyer. If you picked Anna, you go to the lawyer first, if you picked Remy you go visit Amelia first.

If you followed this guide however, you went with Maverick, giving you the choice of who to check on, the canonical choice here would be Amelia first.

Also don't be a prick, hug Amelia!
- Chapter 7 -
There's only one pick in this chapter, and that's what to order for breakfast when you're at the Café with anna.

The choice is 100% inconsequential and has no bearing on the story, meaning you can pick whatever you want. Though the "canonical" choice would be Sausages.
- Chapter 8 -
Early in the morning Anna makes breakfast for you, giving you the choice to tell her whether you like Tea or Coffee better.

This choice is 100% without consequence. You can pick whatever (Though as the author, i'd go with tea, lol)

Later on the big choice here is during Reza's sentencing in the human world. The player gets one choice out of 2 (3 if you've unlocked the evil ending)

These choices are :

1. Give Reza the gun with 1 bullet.
2. Shoot Reza in the knee.
3. Kill the bastard.

The canonical choice would be #1 in this case, even if he would deserve worse. However any other pick than #1 tanks your friendship with Maverick, and you wouldn't want that would you?
- Chapter 9 and Epilogue -
There are no choices to be made in Chapter 9. Go and enjoy your life with Anna.
- Silent Waters -
Requiem for Silent Waters is the newest and final addition to the Requiem timeline. This adds Naomi from A Solitary Mind into the mix. In order to enable her, you will have to do a new game, and during Chapter 1 when she's just about to bump into you, you're supposed to "avoid" her by getting out of the way. This disables Naomi for the current cycle, but will make her appear in Requiem once you're through Aftermath. Same business as usual : 4 dates with Anna, tell her you know of her cancer, accept her offer, go with Everyone, yadda yadda.

Now, Naomi being added to every chapter one way or another throws the entire above recommended order out of whack. The new author intended order if Naomi is available is this :

Chapter 1 :

1. Meet with Lorem
2. Meet with Remy
3. Meet with Anna
4. Meet with Naomi
5. Save Anna
6. Order some lunch
7. Meet with Bryce

This order enables the "after Anna is saved" dialogue options for both Bryce and Adine, which under normal circumstances is mutually exclusive.

Chapter 2 :

Not much changes in the order for chapter 2, you can follow the order mostly the same as above so :

1. Investigate Damion
2. Meet with Emera
3. Lorem 2
4. Remy 2
5. Meet with Vara's family
6. Anna 2
7. Meet with Maverick
8. Adine 2

Here's the kicker though. Naomi 2 will set up the MC as Sebastian's wingman, because like in Savior, he's pining for Naomi. Now whether you do Naomi 2 as the 9th or 10th date, the MC will either confront Sebastian or Naomi about this situation at the end of the date, so Naomi 2 and whatever date (in this case the recommended being Bryce 2) is interchangeable depending on whose dialogue you want to see. But for the sake of fun, I'd say :

9. Bryce 2
10. Naomi 2

10 whole dates...Chapter 2 really is loaded to the brim isn't it?

Chapter 3 :

Naomi calls you and tells you that she really wants that third date to be done as soon as possible. Now, if you want the timeline to change drastically, you better heed that warning. If you do, wondrous new plot can be unlocked for Adine, Remy and later Amelia in chapter 4.

If you don't want to heed this warning and still want to see the news then heed this instead : Whatever you do, do Naomi 3 BEFORE Adine 3. This will enable Naomi to save Adine from injuring herself during Adine 3, unlocking brand new Adine3Alt and Bryce3Alt scenes!

WARNING : Saving Adine is ONLY possible if you have either seen AT LEAST ONE ending to A Solitary Mind, or have completed Requiem for Silent Waters before!!! - For this guide's sake let's say you have done this...

So in conclusion do :
1. Naomi 3 (this in turn will also do Adine 3 in the same date!)
2. Remy 3
3. Adine 3 Alternate (technically called Adine 4 in this case)
4. Lorem 3
5. Anna 3
6. Bryce 3 Alt (Basically Bryce 3 but Naomi could actually make it this time, something she couldn't do even in A Solitary Mind.)

Chapter 4.

If you did as suggested and managed to save Adine from her wing Injury, the usual "Either go Lorem 4 or Adine 4" choice is disregarded and you automatically do Lorem 4 then call Everyone to save Amelia. No reason to dissuade Adine from flying injured if she's not injured, right?

This of course enables us to see a brand new Adine 4 (or 5 in this case) where SHE GETS TO PARTICIPATE IN THE COMPETITION! This also counts as a new scene for Amelia, as she gets to come with you to spectate her best friend's debut on the big stage.

Of course, you can delay this competition a bit, at least until Emera thanks you for not "frolicking around" with Amelia until the council buries the story, but whatever, that's up to you. In my recommendation however things would go like this :

1. Lorem (and Ipsum) 4
2. Save Amelia
3. Naomi 4
4. Bryce 4
5. Adine 4
6. Remy 4
7. Anna 4

Chapter 5.

Naomi declines coming to the fireworks party, she dislikes large crowds and with Malcolm, Linnea, Vara, Amely, Anna and Adine there that's way too many people for her.

Chapter 6 through 9

Naomi gets to be a potential partner for the Portal mission and makes additional appearances that flesh out certain scenes, especially the start of Chapter 9 where you also get a new Naomi 5 date with her. Though there isn't really a "pick a date" menu to insert her into so Naomi 5 starts on its own after several brand new Anna scenes.

She will also replace Shaula during the wedding and will sit across from Sebastian.
