Mayo's Talker VScript Compatibility

A list of which VScript Talker mods are compatible with Mayo's Modified Talker.
Keep in mind that all of these CAN be used with the talker, but will overwrite the talker in those sections, which can potentially cause some side effects.

These VScripts can be used with the talker without issue.

They either:
  • Do not have a normal talker version
  • Have features that the normal talker doesn't have/can't do
  • Are minor things for stuff untouched by the talker

Obsolete
These features are already implemented in the talker and are thus obsolete.
Having these together with the talker won't break anything but just wastes file space and worsenes load times.

Already implemented but can only be said by bots in the talker. Might get spammed when used together(?)

Only use this addon if you want to hear any story on official campaigns, as the talker already has the ability to play any Ellis Story, although only in custom maps.

@Plivillion as said above, using vscript stuff marked as obsolete won't break anything or cause any major issues. There are a few things that can have unintended side effects.

For example using Chimi's restored Ellis FF Revive line will cause Ellis to say them after he does any kind of friendlyfire, while my talker has changed this to only be said after specifically incapacitating another survivor.

A few others like Fixed Rochelle B&W Friendlyfire, L4D1 Tank Friendlyfire, Improved Transition lines etc will only use the lines specified in those mods. They will ignore any lines added/changed in my talker.

In the end it's up to you if you want all of Chimi's mods or only a select few when using my talker. I made this so people are informed as to which vscript talker mod features are in this talker and which aren't.

Thank you for this! Do you suggest leaving the mods provided above enabled or is it better to disable them (I'm using Chimi's all-in-one mod)?
