SETUP & SETTINGS
-settings:
enable node wrangler add-on
use only eve engine (only works on this one)

-camera and light :

1-add light and camera to ur sence

2-make sure you use sun as light and set the strength to 5 its good for now
3-go to shader editor

NOTE : (RECOMMENDED) if you want your screen to be transparent first go to rendring
2nd: render>film> enable transparent.

you can hide camera if you want

im going to use this model of hand that i made

later on i will use monkey

to see better we going to lower the surface strength 0.5

FIRST METHOD (EASY ONE )
add new shader

ok so from new on it's basically adding nodes. im just going to add photos instead of telling you what to add . and if needed leave some note for you

the most basic toon shader is this

with a color ramp set to constant and moving those points left and right or adding more point
changing colors u get cartooni stuff this shading is like Fairly Odd Parents: Breakin' Da Rules game on game cube
(kinda with outline)

next : hard cell shade look

its like this

if you want to add more color you just add mix
like this map and this is your result

next : map range

similar to color ramp with a map range you can get the same result as color ramp nothing interesting at the moment with map range you have control over the values.
2ND METHOD (dots)
with scale and randomness you can control dots
i do this with the monkey so you see it better

the map :

if you want to make the circles black instead of white like comics you add mix like this and set the value to a 1 b 0

to fix the ugly circels do this
set the voronoi texture to 2d first
after adding texture cordinate you can use window or camera node

difference :

camera = makes it 2d from your point of view when you rotating it. it will change the circles

windows = its flat and when you zoom on the circles unlike other one does not get bigger

why it stretch? it's because of the size of your 3d view port windows if you make it bigger or smaller it changes

example :

there is another node like the camera but better its called camera data why it's better ? when you zoom circles don't get bigger

later on i will show you how you can rotate too
3RD METHOD (lines)
just use a wave texture like this instead of voronoi node

if you want to see depth use camera from texture cordinate instead of view vector

this one :

if you want to rotate the angle of lines or dots use vector rotate node
set it to euler first
like this

if you want to add more color use multiply(mix color node) and color ramp

ill show it in lines but you can also use it on dots as well

if you want lines to be completely drawn you can change the a value on mix node before math node

ENDING
ok i think this were all of the major thing you need to know for now i know some other methods but those are really complicated and have no major differences with this one's

i hope you can use this in your projects

dont worry it worked with my potato im sure you can use those on ur super pc its low-end friendly

have nice day.

MAPS
in case you cant see the photos due to the steam brain damaged devs who cant just let me upload a
image without compressing it because they want to pay less for the servers here is the maps again
