Honestly, I'm preferring the original Dark Souls trilogy more. I don't think From did a very good job on filling out the world map; it feels very similar to Breath of the Wild, where it's really big and grandeur, but so empty and barren. There are very large areas of land in this game that have literally nothing in them, only serving to waste my time. Some of the dungeons are very difficult to see and find on your own, which is really what I'm looking for. Many of the areas, enemies and bosses have been very easy so far, but I hear it gets much more challenging mid game. Some of the enemies are downright annoying because we don't have a kick any more and my "Square Off" skill doesn't guarantee a shield break like it did in DS3. However, I do really enjoy playing a cavalier build with the Lance Talisman and Lance weapon on horseback, mad fun. I also really like the Guard Counters, makes using shields a lot more enjoyable and viable.
