With the arrival of the new "Day Length" feature on the 27th October 2023 I did some quick experiments to see how time is affected in the game.

This is how it breaks down based off timing how long it takes for 1 hour of game time to pass by

Day Length: Default

• 1 hour = 40s
  
• 6am to 2am = 13m20s

Day Length: Longer

• 1 hour = 47s
  
• 6am to 2am = 15m40s

Day Length: Longest

• 1 hour = 56s
  
• 6am to 2am = 18m40s

*m = minutes, s = seconds

The game will SAVE your current setting for Day Length when you save the game, so you will have to go in and manually adjust it if you ever want your days to go faster or slower. This means any old save files you have will change the day length back to DEFAULT if you have changed it in a newer save, so be wary of that.

I calculated this using a stopwatch so my timing could be slightly off, if anyone has experienced or has calculated it differently I will readjust the time. Thanks for reading.
