Details on Sync Disks
In general sync disks are like implants you can get to gain a certain type of buff or debuff, I won't be explaining what each sync disk does in detail but I will link someone who was able to write it all down.

Guide To Sync Disk by Walkman
Sync Disk 1 to 9
1-Beauty

Allure - Not that helpful since handcuffs are pretty cheap and side jobs can give you enough money to buy more expensive things like ballistic armor.

Charm - Very great when you need to ask question from certain things from people like knowing someone or fingerprints. This is very useful since there are usually sides cases and some main jobs that need you to at least questions citizens to help on a lead, for me the better option than allure.

2-Constitution

Chemistry - Recommend if you want the stinky and cold debuff since these are the common debuffs you will experience throughout your playthrough, idk what the tired debuff is but I maxed out chemistry and I still have no idea what the tired debuff is.

Cardiovascular - More Inventory spaces to become a Skyrim Thief.

3-Frame

Note: Do not get the max upgrade since being to short you need chairs and stuff to see what is on the counter and for being tall you have to crouch when entering and exiting doors

Statuesque- This one is slightly more useful than compact and basically become Mommy Dimitrescu

Compact- Become Mini Dallas with this one

4-Physique

Fortitude- Increases Health and Regen good if you are always in a combat situation but if you bring weapons like the baton pretty much useless

Vitality- Increases inventory space and probably the most helpful one in this sync disk

5-Tenacity

Clout- I have upgraded this to the max but for some reason it still ain't strong enough to sort of 2 tap enemies, basically you can take this if you don't want to bring weapons but for me it is still better to bring weapons than to invest in this

Brawn- I haven't tried throw stuff at citizens but from what I heard you can throw stuff at them to knock the ♥♥♥♥ out of them so take this if you want some funny KO's

Reflexes- Almost any damage based debuffs except bleeding will be removed and you can gain a buff focus which like increases movement speed if I am not mistaken helpful if you are dealing people with guns.

6-Vigor

Power- Super helpful since you don't need to use lockpicks anymore to open doors just make sure no one sees you barging, the downside you can accidentally trigger this by running and right clicking it since the assumption is that you will knock but instead it does the barge.

Stability- Do not take this if you experience that glitch where you clip through the floor at random intervals but this one is more of a joke trait since you can theoretically just jump on high floors and not die.

7-Ambassador Scheme

Cash flow- Passive Income it is small but it helps out a bit still better to do side jobs than relying on this and waiting for murders to happen

Competitors Data Mining- Basically you can sabotage a computer into giving you money the only problem with this one is sometimes or frequently you will forget to actually sabotage the pcs or it is already sabotage that feels useless to get it

8-Spartan Insurance

Gold Medical Cover- Basically no need to pay hospitals bills and spawn in your apartment at max level very situational but as the name suggest it is an insurance so good for back ups

Gold Legal Cover- Stolen items don't get taken away when you get hospitalized more situational than Medical Cover frankly very useless so don't take it

Gold Accident Cover- Basically get paid by being sent to the hospital not that helpful since it is a once per day thing and there are better ways to make money passively than doing this

9-Starch Brand Ambassador

Spread the word- This does not stack with charms so take this if you can handle snide remarks from citizens problem is to gain the money the citizens you need a positive remark so take it if you have all the useful stuff

Put Some Life into it- Not worth it since you need to buy starch and give it to citizens, since from what I remember 1 can is like 6 crows so not worth it.
Sync Disk 10-18
10-Sugar Daddy

Note: Side effect of not drinking starch is similar to the drunk mechanic you get blurred vision but you also get low health.

Down payment- DO NOT take this since based on calculation to remove it for free you need the max upgrade for it to be half price which is 3000 crows and you need to drink at least 600 cans worth of starch since 600 cans X 5 crows = 3000 crows each can so essentially you are left with 2000 crows once you have it removed do not take this unless you are willing to risk it all.

11-Dove+

Note: Side effect will probably affect Charm so best have it removed as fast as you can.

Psychological Perception- The most useful one since it will tell you the height, shoe size, and age based on the photo alone meaning no need to be in person to get most of the data.

Socioeconomic Perception- Not that great compared to Psychological but still better than nothing

12-Cartographer

Urbex Cartographer- Barge gameplay so take this one

Crawlspace Engineer- Sneaky gameplay although for me it does not work idk why

13-Community

Care in the community - Very short term since I can only see this being helpful if you want the very expensive apartment

Heavy Lifter- Romanian Gameplay

14-Model Citizen

Street Cleaner- There are a lot of trash the longer you are in the city so if you like to clean take this one

Bookworm- you are also likely to see books when you barge in someones apartment so this is also as viable as the street cleaner

15-Public Service

Note: You need a camera for both of these

Food Hygiene Inspector- Basically if you want to this without trespassing you need to buy a guest pass then snap a pick of the kitchen this one is still very situational since unless you play in a very large city there won't be a lot of kitchen to snap photos of.

Sanitary Hygiene Inspector- Same thing except in bathrooms it needs to be in public places like business and diners and snap a pic of the bathroom slightly more useful

16-Infiltrator

Rogue- Very Useful if you do that thing where you barge doors to knock the ♥♥♥♥ out of someone even if you don't use the barge it is still helpful since there will be times where you need to fight people in their apartments.

Hacker- Basically longer time for the security breaker to be disabled not that helpful since you can flick the security system on and off to restart the timer so take it with a grain of salt

17-Interceptor

Mailing List- Basically you need to check the computer profile of each citizen to reap the rewards to complicated

Safe cracker- The most useful one since all you need is the citizens passcode to gain the reward

18-Trespasser

Lockpicker- The cheaper version of invisible but the more useful one overall since it affects all locks

Resourceful- Not that helpful since you can barge doors and just steal lockpicks when you go to apartments and offices

Invisible- Very helpful to access CCTV outside or opening office doors in daytime

Thanks for letting people know what they do, allows you to know which ones you want and anything that is annoying later. Lots of help:steamthumbsup:

Also for Starch Ambassador, Put Some Life Into It is by no means useless - you can buy a Starch Kola for 1 cr and give it away for 10 when max upgraded. Also, you can pick up Gemsteaders from the street and give them away for 10 cr each lol

Vigor - Stability is NOT a joke trait, it allows you to jump down elevator shafts to escape pretty much any building quickly.

also does disabling debuffs disable achievements?

things might have changed with the whole falling through the ground thing, it seems to teleport you back to solid ground, although so far I've only fallen twice, before and after getting stability

Public Service - so does it auto give you the money when you take the pic?

The Model Citizen disk gives the non-upgraded version of the other configuration once you upgrade it fully, but unless you're stealing your upgrade vials it's not worth it to upgrade the Bookworm version. The first upgrade ups the money per book to 16 credits, while the second gives you a 150 credit bonus for finishing all the books in a series. The problem is that there aren't enough of those payouts to be worth 1000 credits for a vial; there aren't a hundred distinct books, and there are only four kinds of books that are part of a series. That makes the max payout for the second upgrade 600 credits, which isn't really worth it. Now, if you DO upgrade it all the way, you also earn the non-upgraded trash pickup, but usually it's easier and better to just get two Model Citizen disks and reinstall with the trash upgrade once you've read all the books. It'll be pretty clear when you've read all the books, and trash is a renewable resource in this town.

If my Frame - Statuesque gameplay did what I think it did, you can no longer fit in certain hiding places (for instance, the hiding places under desks disappeared for me as I grew.) For practical purposes, being slightly on the short side might help with grabbing clues on the ground, and your risk of being caught by a scout laser are much lower; in addition, if the disk did what I think it did, you get more places to hide if you tend toward a sneaky approach.

As far as the Starch Brand Ambassador disk, Kola usually costs 2 credits from vending machines, and you can often find at least one place in the city in which it only costs 1. Not from a vending machine or a grocery, but from an actual restaurant. The odds go up with larger cities, just because there are more restaurants, but there's usually at least one cheap one.
