This addon will only work on Local Servers(Hosted by You or Someone that is using the mod) or Single Player.

Second Chapter of The Parish has a serious problem with balance... Even though it's a simple level it has a large amount of Medkit Spawns! That's a problem because those Medkits aren't being created by the director, meaning that there's nothing that balances the amount that can spawn! All of them can exist without taking into consideration how well the Survivors are doing...

This addon focuses on fixing this issue! The only Medkits that will now spawn in this level are ones that the Director decides to create by converting Pills, which creates a more balanced gameplay overall for this level!

This mod will work on Versus as well(If you know how to enable it)
  • This Chapter that previously would be really tedious for the SI Team can now be more enjoyable!

can you put l4d1 ceda agent in the no mercy finale chapter since for no reason they don't appear in the helipad finale

@Demo .lmp files are used to update maps without recompiling their .bsp! You can edit the file with Notepad++ but after that you need to use a Lumpfix for it to work

Alright, cool. I'll try to keep my poking to a minimum here.
I cracked open the .vpk and saw it was a .lmp file, not an edit to a .bsp or anything. What exactly is that, and how do I emulate/create/replicate that?

I love the campaign The Dark Parish but I'm not a fan of how they removed half the medkits from the last saferoom. Is it possible to do a mod like this that adds back the missing medkits?

Not even asking you to do, just straight up asking if it's even do-able.

@Cuba apparently during the Betas the Chapters 1 and 2 of The Parish were a single chapter! So those 6 Medkit spawns were probably leftovers of that idea...

This version that i made will still balance things out if the survivors are doing extremely poorly since the Director can convert Pills to Medkits, but it's a very easy level neverthless, but now with more appropriate balance

If I had to guess it's because it was stated during development that medkits would not always spawn in the saferoom. Perhaps these are leftover spawns from that idea.
