Beskrivning

The Weapon Spawn Ratio Mod is a server addon for Trouble in Terrorist Town that balances the ratio of the various weapon types that appear at random weapon spawn points.

When the round begins, these spawn points normally select an item from the spawnable weapon pool at complete random and then spawn it in that location. This works fine for classic TTT but when you introduce lots of custom weapons to the pool of the spawnable items it can be problematic if the ratio of sidearms, grenades and heavy weapons is uneven. For example, if the server has lots of custom heavy weapons but no custom grenades then the map can become saturated with heavy weapons and have almost no grenades anywhere.

This addon seeks to remedy this problem by altering the way the random weapon spawn points work.

With this addon enabled, instead of choosing the item at complete random, weapon spawn points have given probabilities of spawning each item type equivalent to the 3:3:5 ratio of the vanilla item pool:

28% of spawned items will be sidearms.
28% of spawned items will be grenades.
44% of spawned items will be heavy weapons.

Note that custom weapons that do not conform to one of these three weapon slots (e.g. custom melee weapons) will not appear at random spawns around the map if you use this mod.

Any way to adjust the ratio? Essentially I'm trying to have some custom weapons spawn on a very low percentage and thus only have roughly 1 spawn per map.
