Enable Steam Console
Press the Windows Key + R, type steam://open/console, and click "ok"

Download Old Version
Type the following command and hit enter to download
download_depot 1868170 1868171 5610402228990354606

Replace Game Files
1. Navigate to where your steam downloads are, it will likely be: C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\content
2. Find the folder with the game files you are looking for
3. Right click the game in your steam library and select Manage > Browse Local Files
4. Delete all of the game's files and replace them with the ones from the depot you downloaded

2. Unzip and plop it at C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\EO2HD
