If I can't make it all the way through I'll be sure to use this method; this game is great but only games that are explicitly about grinding (i.e. Runescape) should have such grindy achievements. At my pace I'm looking at maybe 30 hours for Conqueror, and that's assuming I don't have to restart a single time. :(
PS: @SHAUNI: I feel u...get the same archipelago on each reload...
From a bit of experimenting, I think the game may be assigning certain island types to each of the 21 island "slots". I.e. island number X will always be mountainous and snowy, while island number X+1 is always an archepelago and so on.
I'm stuck at the 18/19th and the game wants me to continue on a sh*tty archipelago without a statue. I've resetting like 100 times already, and I wonder if the game tries to balance different types of islands played during the same save file. Hopes I'm wrong tho.
