Unofficial Fixes

With downloads around the internet returning "file not found" errors, I've decided to arrange an easy to access set of fixes for the early Tomb Raider games.

Tomb Raider: The Last Revelation
This set of essential fixes for Tomb Raider: The Last Revelation includes:

-widescreen fix so models no longer appear stretched
-fullscreen border fix (note: if you want to play in windowed mode, leave out ddraw.dll file or edit ddrawcompat.ini with notepad)
-weapon holster fix
-various level fixes (for full list, see below)

Easy to use, simply download the files here[1drv.ms] and replace the files in your game folder.
(click the ↓ Download button at the top to download the whole lot as a .zip file)

When running the game for the first time after patching, use the "Launch Run Setup" option to configure your settings.

I highly recommend using dgVoodoo2 with this game, as it improves lighting and allows the use of AA/AF. You can find it here[github.com] just remember to remove that pesky watermark.

Also check out Troye's mods here[github.com]

Special thanks to Sardoc and Trjta for their hard work over the years.

Level fixes:

1. Fixes the missing or misrotated textures in Angkor Wat and Race for the Iris levels.

2. Corrects the incorrect torch-in-hand mesh and torch-throwing animation in Giza levels.

3. Faulty fog colors in the Tomb of Seth and Temple of Karnak levels are fixed.

If the link to Easy_Finch's mod "doesn't work" for you and you're getting a page not found message, try hitting your browser's back arrow a few times. This made the file page appear for me. I was able to download the zip file.

That said, I was already using Troye's Tomb4 mod which fixes the border and widescreen aspect ratio. Adding all the files from "Unofficial Fixes" over Troye's mod (except the Tomb4.exe) broke the game for me.

Make a complete backup of your current game folder before you add any of the Unofficial Fixes files. I simply pasted my "Troye's Tomb4" game backup over the Unofficial Fixes version and the game seems to be working properly again. I don't know if that paste-over bypasses all the Unofficial Fixes level fixes though.

Do you have another way to download this stuff? Onedrive doesn't do anything when i click download.

Is it possible to combine these fixes with readded strap mod and corpses don't disappear one? Cause I use that level pack from Tomb Raider Forums and the latest version seems to work fine. It does use a custom hacked .exe with other tweaks. But installing Tomb4 sourceport on top also works, though you can just use dgvoodoo2 and it will be fine.

Is this necessary to do if we are installing Troye's mod? Does your mod include Troye's fixes? Or does Troye's mod already include these same Widescreen, Fullscreen border, Holster fixes, etc? I see both your mod files and Troye's include a tomb4.exe file. Which .exe to use if we want to run both mods together?
