heres everything i did explained (pretty simple):
Get on top of the border to the ocean with the leaf blower
then you have to get through sum small gap in the invisible wall (watch the video to see where one is)
boost yourself to the ship, everything is rendered
thats it :)

Reminds me of how you can escape the map at the end of the game 'Lifeless Planet' and walk around the city that's visible in the distance.
