A fun thing you can make with props in CVR is a prop of a dancing avatar with music.

For this I will assume you know how to import and rig an avatar and have that imported. Drag the model into the unity hierarchy. Then get a dancing animation and music from somewhere (Unity has free dances and music).

Import the dance into unity and drag and drop it into the avatar’s root. Then you should see a tab appear called animator.



If you have other animations in there other than your dance, delete them. Other animations might appear if you just copy pasted from an existing avatar and had something like the ability to resize your avatar.

Next add a “Audio Source” component to the avatar’s root. Things you wanna change here are setting the “AudioClip” to the audio you want to use. Setting “Play on Awake” and “Loop”. Then make sure the “Spacial Blend” is set to the max.
I would then also recommend lowering the volume so it doesn’t blow out peoples ear drums. Then also change the max distance to something low so it doesn’t disrupt everyone in the room.


Afterwards you can attach the CVR spawnable component. Rigid body isn't needed but can be added. A box collider can also be added if you want to move your prop.
