Literally every other “beginner’s guide” had the presenter going off on a never-ending nested loop of of tangents, would introduce a mechanic by referencing half a dozen other mechanics that hadn’t been introduced yet, or just seemed to be regurgitating information from the dev blogs without any real understanding of what they were talking about.
So thank you again for a genuinely informative and educational beginner’s guide that had me starting up a new game with a sense of excitement rather than trepidation!
And thank you all for reading/watching, I'm glad my work could help you out!
This kind of presentation is what I always wish for with a new game. Sadly, no longer do we have manuals (even pdf documents) that lay things out like your guide does.
Also THANKS THANKS THANKS for a verbatim transcript as finding a section and rereading the pertinent part is MUCH more efficient that looking for the exact information needed (in the middle of a timestamp section) in a video.
IMO, Paradox Interactive should 1) Compensate you for this work, 2) Hire you to continue with more detailed explanations of the interactions in the game and 3) Hire you PERMANENTLY to work on PDF documents introducing and explaining their new games. (assuming you want the job LOL)
EXCELLENT WORK! Thank you!
