Hitman 3 Buying Guide

In this topic I want to provide the correct way to buy a game and some tips on how to save some money as well as an explanation of all the packages and upgrades related to the purchase

What I have seen is that there is a lot of confusion regarding the purchase. You only have to follow this guide, which I hope will help you.

Linked Accounts

First, you must follow the first steps in linking your account on the IOI site with the game and the same email on all three games. It is very important so that we can bring all upgrades and packages to the game HITMAN 3, not transfer progress or sites what matters to us is the purchase so that all dlc works on H3 . game

Secondly, install H1 + H2 + H3 games on the store so that we can know what exactly we have from the version and secondly so that we can link the game to the email so that all the game versions are linked together to facilitate the transfer of DLC

I have HITMAN1 : Definitive Edition on XBOX CONSOLE and it's in the Microsoft Store but I can't link it because I only play PC and this happens to a lot of people who bought a game (because all your games must be linked to your account to be able to play it)
And after you make sure that you are all linked to the games with the same email and ioi account

Check DLC

check the DLC on your games as shown in the picture (steam store)

Choose a purchase method

Third, after following the first steps, we move to the table shown below

You check your H1, H2 and H3 games

Choose a purchase method that suits you with all the possible possibilities that are there and must be read carefully

So you can buy if you have in the library one or two games and put for you all the game releases and all the possibilities that you have from a full version to a normal version with all the explanations

Here, you must focus on that every purchase is made on the HITMAN 2 page, with discounts, the best time to buy

And you must follow the order of buying first, second, and third because it saves you a lot of money

And when you buy any product, enter the game HITMAN 2

refresh your account from within a game it will be added and then check HITMAN 3

Prices are set and all the information you find in tables with a comparison of Access Pass versions

I do not know if it can be played by sharing, but I advise you to buy it because it has a discount It also allows you to play trilogy without problems, especially transferring your progress in a game

Thank you for the guide, if I understand your guide correctly, since I have Hitman 1 GOTY and Hitman 2 GOLD. For "full" game ( I just need to buy the hitman 3 deluxe edition) right ?

PS: not including the "seven deadly" DLCs

i have Hitman 1 GOTY and hitman 2 GOLD (from myself) and Hitman 3 (from family sharing). Which is the process for installing Hitman 3 and this hitman 3 detect and grant access to hitman 1 and 2?

Will i have to keep ithe 3 games installation??? :-O

If someone wants to get achievements for all 3 titles, though, as separate games this is the last chance to do so, right? I have HM 1 goty. I was thinking of buying HM 2 gold which would (?) allow me to still get the legacy DLC for HM 2 for free. Then I could still get HM 3 eventually but have both those games under HM 3. It's like Inception - games within a game within a game.

So if I only have HM 1 Gold, not the GOTY
and I want DLC for 1 and 2
I should buy HM 2 Gold, then GOTY Legacy, then HM 3? But will that save money during the sale?

The sheer insane complexity IOI has created here, regarding versions & DLC & expansions & collections & blah blah blah.....it's the most convoluted, intentionally confusing, deceitful, and extorting nomenclature for series of a game I think I've ever seen.

It's so blatantly obvious that it's trying to resell you something you already own multiple times as a "collection" or "expansion", it should be pulled off Steam until they make it clear to consumers *WHAT* they're buying - and what they already own. You shouldn't be able to pay for literally the same exact thing, multiple times over.

This alone makes me not want to support this developer because of it's awful sales tactics - create a game, chop it up into 10 pieces as "episodes", then sell them separately, bundled, and as "expansions" multiple times over.

Cmon, steam.
