I do this in Dishonored, Prey, all the Deus Ex Games, etc.
Oh, this one is SUPER annoying, but picking up a second copy of a weapon (picking up a pistol when you already have one) gives you ammo. So if you want to get crazy-money, you have to pick up and sell just single weapons at a time. This may mean 3-4 trips back/forth through an area you already cleared, but that cash means more of those praxis kits you can buy in each area at I THINK 5K a piece. Not sure if there is a mod for this, but I found that the extra cash was usually worth it.
Ghost EXP reward is always guaranteed, if HOSTILE mode was never engaged. There IS however a small detail: Turrets are stupidly scripted: When going in yellow (SUSPICIOUS), but then losing sights of you, it goes into fake HOSTILE mode, dispite cooling off. So the Ghost reward will only vanish if the turret engages you for REAL. You can notice it, if it stays in HOSTILE mode for way longer than the fake one. Or, most likely - it will shoot! So once it fires - Ghost failed.
If you want to ensure the alarm is never risen, know this - enemies NEVER unload. If you poorly hide a body, any guard can sound the alarm because of it, REGARDLESS of how far away are you. So alarms can be triggered without even you knowing it! Think twice about your actions (blowing walls, breaking objects, bodies).
Unlethal, double takedown grants maximum experience. If you wish to get the most EXP from dealing with enemies, take them in pairs, lure singular gards together. And no kills. You can cap ZZZ bodies later if you wish, it does not take any EXP back. It will only set your next save file tag "pacifist" to 0, locking the related achivement.
Oh and be careful with body draging collision, since it never stops collecting it. If you touch ZZZ body 1 minute later, it will apply all collision, ragdoll stupidly and kill the person, also counting it as YOUR fault. So hide bodies quick and never bother them again.
