Here's a guide on how to make Wages of Sin, work with the Steam Version of Sin (version 1.12)

Again this guide is only for people interested in Using Wages Of Sin, with the new 1.12 version of Sin, released on steam with Bundled Sin Episodes: Emergence.

You will need the following for it to work:

• A copy of Wages Of Sin.
  
• A copy of Sin Episodes: Emergence With Sin Steam included
  
• Sin Tools Specificly the Makepak.exe (To extract nessesary files from Wages Of Sin), get it from here: https:// mega .nz/ # !uscCFBpD!3Mn0oE0ReWpELL6GTAz3qvCwreyaEFgMlcpPisEFRNs
  
• Updated Configuration Scripts (These Updates the Configuration files And the Main Menu Script, to be compatible with the Version 1.12 changes made to Sin Steam), get it from here:

• A fix for the infamous mutation facility (smbc) crash (Or when loading the "Mutation Facility" map (smbc), the game crashes), get it from here:

Create a temporay directory and move the downloaded zip files into it.


When you have downloaded the zip files in your temporary folder, extract sintools_full.zip. To do this right click a zip file, and chose Extract To Here (or Extract Here in WinRAR)

You should now have a temp directory looking like this:


Delete the Sintools_Full.zip file, or Store it somewhere else for later use if you prefer. Do not Delete or move the WOS_cfg_Files.zip file or WoS_Steam_SMBC_Fix.zip yet, you'll need it later.

Copy the 2015 folder from your Wages Of Sin Retail cd to the same temporary folder.

Go into the sin folder (in your temporary folder), then the Bin folder. Loctate the Makepak.exe there, and move it to your 2015 folder in the temporary folder.


After the file is moved from folder to folder, you can delete the Sin folder, since you won't be needing it anymore.

Go in to your command promt (Click Start, Run, type cmd and click Enter)

Navigate to your temporary folder and run makepak.exe with the "-u pak0.sin" prefix without the quotes. Wait for the files to extract.


When Its done extracting the files Delete the "Makepak.exe" And the "Pak0.sin" files, you don't need them anymore.

Now make a new folder in the 2015 folder called "locale" without the quotes.
In the locale folder make yet another folder called "en" again without the quotes.. Make shure you use lower-case (small) letters.

Now move the dialog, menus and pics folders from the 2015 folder, to the locale\en folder


This should make your menus in Wages of Sin work correctly.

Remember that WOS_cfg_Files.zip and WoS_Steam_SMBC_Fix files you downloaded?? Now its time to use them simply extract them in your 2015 folder.

Move the 2015 folder to your Steam Sin folder located at:


Now go to where your steam folder recides and locate the steam.dll and copy it to your sin 1 folder


You need to copy the Miles folder from your sin 1 base folder to your 2015 folder


Add "+set game 2015" to the SiN launch options since Wages of Sin lets you select both campaigns from the menu.

First you need a new tool. Rad Game Tools (Used to convert too and from Bink Video And Smacker Video formats). Get it Here: [url=

Install Radgame Tools

Then run it from its shortcut

In the search area navigate to your 2015 movies folder and locate the 2015_logo.avi


Higlight It and click Bink It

Make shure you use the Exact same settings as in the picture below:



Then click Bink

When its done Converting Click View to make shure it works then click done.

Now move the newly created 2015_logo.bik file from the 2015 movies folder, to the base movies folder.
