Through The Looking Glass

Through The Looking Glass Achievement - Kill 10 Snipers before they see/shoot you.

Sounds really simple, but sometimes the shots did not count properly. So I created this simple guide to show what needs to be done to get it to register.
FYI: There was a patch addressing this issue.

Looking at the screenshot below, there is a Sniper tagged with the binoculars. There is an Alert Status and it displays Passive. When the Sniper is Passive then take the shot, any other Alert Status will not count towards the Achievement progress.

The Best Spot in the Game is on Siwa Oasis, As seen in the screenshot the Sniper is located on the Mosque/Church after the first AA Gun. Do a Save, Kill, Reload Save if you need to grind for it.

попробовал.... НИХРЕНА НЕ ВЫХОДИТ,,, Может что-то не так делаю... на трех картах валил снайперов... просто так..... проходил до конца компанию...... результат НОЛЬ... ХЕЛП!!!

Народ!! Подскажите кто знает.... где надо снайперов валить через прицел... в компаниях... состязаниях или в сети.... в компании получилось пару-тройку раз...... прям через прицел... и что тогда бинокль х10 дадут? Я правильно понял?

The requirements must have changed (a recent update?) as I killed a sniper x10 when his status was 'suspicious' and the achievement unlocked. You will know whether the kills are counting or not as you'll see a 1/10, 2/10, 3/10 pop-up with each kill.

Despite the name of this achievement, no you don't have to shoot the snipers down the scope sight,....you merely just have to kill them,...with a headshot or whatever, just as long as they don't see you. :)

I was able to obtain this achievement with headshots, not by shooting down the snipers scope sight.

Автор утверждает, что противник должен быть "спокоен"... Не точное утверждение, состояние может быть любое, главное, чтобы ваша пуля прошла через прицел противника.
