You can start up and play Blockscape on linux with some simple steps:

1. Setup wine at least v. 1.7.20 or PlayOnLinux (lok at wine manager to load new wine version)
   
2. Load Steam client and setup it on new wine prefix
   
3. add packages (by winetricks or PlayOnLinux) to blockscape prefix: d3dx9_43 , dotnet40 , mono210

To avoid game crashes by any key pressing you should disable the steam overlay:
In steam right click the game name and select properties, then uncheck "Enable Steam community in-game".
(Or you can disable it altogether with winecfg -> libraries, add "gameoverlayrenderer.dll" and select "disable".)

Than it should works fine.
