Compatibility patch for Stellaris verion 4.0 and SE: Human 2, also for (-United Sci-Fi Races-) and SE: Human 2.
Recent update (05.2022) of (-United Sci-Fi Races-) broke human's portraits from SE: Human 2, so this mod also fixes them.
Will work even without (-United Sci-Fi Races-) mod installed.
Place this mod after named mods in loadorder.

Achievements friendly if used without (-United Sci-Fi Races-).

Loadorder must be:
SE: Human 2,
SE Humans 2 - Working fix.

And with United Sci-Fi Races:
(-United Sci-Fi Races-),
...,
SE: Human 2,
SE Humans 2 - Working fix.

I wasn't using some other mod, i was using the pre-4.0 version of this one, which I backed up locally in case I wanted to play with 3.14 some more. I thought I would compare just in case there was a bug introduced in the new update.

As it happens, clearing out my mod descriptors and emptying my custom mod folder from Irony seems to have fixed the issue, so thank you! I'll let you know if anything else strange crops up.

Just checked: this mod works as intended with 4.0.10 version of game and original SE: Human 2 mod. Queen Fiona: please check mods load order, refresh mod descriptors, and make sure, that you using original SE: Human 2 mod with this mod.

This mod only applied to original SE: Human 2 mod (see link in "required" section of this page), I have no relation to other mods, which restores SE: Human 2 content. I had not added any new content (portraits, etc) beside content of that original SE: Human 2 mod.

Just double-checked: I backed up my 3.14 mods just in case I wanted to revert versions for whatever reason, and the portraits show up using the old 3.14 version of this mod. I can't say without further testing whether they're bugged in some way or not, but they do show up at least, so it's more functional than before.

Interestingly, they didn't seem to work when I just used the original mod alone, so some kind of fix is necessary. But I don't have the know-how to determine why the 3.14 version has the portraits show up and the new one doesn't.

None of the portraits show up for me anymore even with the new update. Neither the human nor synth shows up. I tried another portrait pack and it worked fine, so I'm not clear on what is causing the problem.

Thanks for the update. @Link3000XD You only need the original SE: Human 2. That is what is in the required items list.

There are some changes in scripts, but old portraits textures and meshes still works fine.

@Viant Did u notice whether Paradox changed the portrait system even more with 4.0?
