Having translated all three Dishonored games into my native language, I noticed numerous typos, grammatical errors, inconsistencies, and outdated text compared to their counterparts in the games and novels. Since the translation tools I used were developed for game localisation and not publicly available, I realised that I could contribute to the community by correcting the text, applying tweaks, and integrating community-made mods.

After researching and correcting the text, I contacted mod creators for permission and invited them to become contributors if they wished. The Dishonored games are already great; however, I wanted to make them even better by adding more polish while staying true to their original feel. I was inspired by unofficial patches for the three Thief games.

D1Fix is an all-in-one patch for Dishonored 1 Definitive Edition. It includes essential fixes and optional community-made mods. These improvements refine the overall experience, enhance the gameplay, and make the game more satisfying.
