Ghost Mode 2.0 for COOP ..don´t expect to live long ^^
Ok, seriously this makes GhostMode considerably harder in Coop, but nonetheless it´s working quite well without nonsensical restrictions. And while you are fixed into a Role, that itself is still fun as your team keeps most of the universal tools required to survive some hard missions.

It´s possible to make it even harder, but what´s the point if the fun is lacking and some Missions become near impossible without serious exploits of meta-knowledge. Anyway, I´m open to Feedback and sound suggestions.. Have Fun! ;-)


DISCLAIMER:
I´d only ever suggest it to those crazy enough playing GhostMode regularly (ideally @Tiermode) !!
Otherwise just ignore this Guide and move back to the fun of Wildlands.. without Permadeath.


Restrictions + LOADOUT
Remember the standard "GhostMode"-Restrictions:
-> only 1 main weapon, Reloading wastes Ammo left in magazine, etc..


Restrictions for "Ultimate Pain"-COOP
Game Mode: GhostMode (Permadeath)
Difficulty: Tiermode ON
Team: 4 different Roles* that cannot be changed during session !!
  • Teamleader (main weapon: ACR // Sidearm: M9 // Device: FragGrenades)
  • Sniper (main weapon: HTI // Sidearm: BFF // Device: Mines)
  • Tech (main weapon: Deimos Xbow // Sidearm: 5.7 USG // Device: C4)
  • Medic (main weapon: MP7 // Sidearm: Ladykiller // Device: Flares)

General Restrictions:
1. no drone! -> Binoculars
2. no healing drone! -> manual revive! (be very cautious)
3. no rebels! -> no real support besides the rebel patrols
4. no vehicle drops! -> steal what you need

*Special Exceptions depending on class:
  • Teamleader: vehicle drops limited! -> only 1 drop per mission
  • Sniper: rebel mortar limited! -> only 1 use per mission
  • Tech: emp drone limited! -> only 1 use per mission
    rebel support limited! -> only 1 use per mission
  • Medic: healing drone limited! -> only 1 use per mission

SMG: MP7 (MEDIC)
Special: Deimos Xbow (TECH)

  • M9 (TEAMLEADER)
  • BFF (SNIPER)
  • 5.7 USG (TECH)
  • Ladykiller (MEDIC)
Melee:
  • ExecutionerWristband (TEAMLEADER)
  • Caveira Gloves (SNIPER)
  • Caveira Gloves (TECH)
  • ExecutionerWristband (MEDIC)
Devices: FlashGrenade + DiversionLure for everyone! ..plus:
  • FragGrenades (TEAMLEADER)
  • Mines (SNIPER)
  • C4 (TECH)
  • Flares (MEDIC)

**Once per mission BONUS SKILL:
  • vehicle drop (TEAMLEADER)
  • rebel mortar (SNIPER)
  • emp drone + rebel support (TECH)
  • healing drone (MEDIC)


This Setup is build for teamwork, meaning If your teamwork is off - you die fast.
Adrenaline guaranteed ;-)

Classes explained..
  • TEAMLEADER - (Special Skill: Vehicle Drop)
    The Vanguard, former Marine and expert with grenades (+GL). He is ready to push through, while keeping his team alive.

  • SNIPER - (Special Skill: Rebel Mortar)
    The tactician, former master gunny, who is an expert at recon and calls artillery support whenever it gets messy. Despite being a Master Marksman, he has seen some battles going sideways - that´s why he fell in love with massive damage.. respectively his BFF and Mines - one more devastating than the other.

  • TECH - (Special Skill: EMP Drone + Rebel Support)
    The comms wizard, former spy and infiltrator. He might seem weaker at first glance, but his gear is highly specialized.. and the army that comes when he pushes a button is no joke either.

  • MEDIC - (Special Skill: Healing Drone)
    The combat medic is versatile, former Delta Force and can really make a big difference. Keep your doc alive! Don´t worry, such specialists have enough firepower to win smaller skirmishes by themselves.

COOP only?
Yes. SOLO GhostMode is already much harder and I´d say now it´s even with "Ultimate Pain" Challenge. But if you really want to play Wildlands at it´s hardest try "Sam Fisher -unchained-", which is a SOLO challenge that will most likely get you killed :-)

It would be really nice, If we could adjust the AI-team & Map Settings, but that will trigger EAC - maybe UBIsoft implements a server-based Editor for some future GhostRecon game.. till then we have to apply Restrictions ourselves and via Loadout..
